11/10/2017 00:16 | The "certificates only" stipulation for the offer is a bit odd, does that mean if you hold shares in a nominee you won't get to participate? Also the offer is just described as the "offer", not the "open offer", so does this mean it is not open to all shareholders? if so, that would presumably require the disapplication of pre-emption rights? TT (or anyone else) any ideas? | timbo003
10/10/2017 17:45 | “On this basis, it is expected that the New Ordinary Shares will represent approximately 14 per cent of the enlarged issued ordinary share capital of the Company (assuming all the New Ordinary Shares are issued).” They’re issuing about 8.4m shares if all goes to plan. The most recent total voting rights figure was 19.6m (RNS 20th June) giving a new total of 28m. 8.4m new shares therefore represents 30% of the enlarged share capital, not 14% as stated in today's RNS. Or have I got something wrong? | columbarius
10/10/2017 16:34 | Offer shares only issued in Certificated form - Very odd - Have come across this before mainly with options associated with placings in Canada but never with "open offers" from UK situs and listed companies - (OK maybe I have been lucky) !! Very much a PIA. | pugugly
10/10/2017 15:18 | Oops - too late lost ground now down from 143 to 122. It will come back but who knows when? | diplomat65
10/10/2017 12:47 | This looks like an ideal buying opportunity to me at 120p with a possible 18% profit if the share price stays around current level. | diplomat65
10/10/2017 10:12 | Going back to the results, it all sounds quite promising. Things are certainly a bit clearer on the composites. It looks like Haydale have gone for AMG as a source of Graphene for the composite work (rather than Versarien or Talga). I suspect this means that the Graphite starting material is from AMG's Bogala Graphite Lanka mines located in Sri Lanka, although no information is available regarding this or the process used to convert their graphite into few layer graphene. Assuming it is Sri Lanka sourced graphite, they may well use a similar process to that of First Graphite Resources (ASX: FGR) and Elcora (TSXV:ERA) , who both use an electro-chemical ex-foliation process to convert their Sri Lanka sourced graphite into few layer graphene. | timbo003
10/10/2017 09:52 | Ah yes, so it does TT, although not immediately obvious on first read. Open Offers are usually announced with the price already agreed, but I guess this time as the price will be deterrmined by an accelerated book build for the placing, they do not know the entitlements, or the price, hence the lack of other details. | timbo003
10/10/2017 09:17 | Haydale fund raise does include a £3m proposed offer that PI's can take part in, it appears. | tradertrev
10/10/2017 08:33 | The fund raise doesn’t come as any great surprise after switching broker in September, but the price does (not less than 120p) and there is no provision for PIs to participate either with an open offer, or through Primary Bid. I can guarantee with 100% certainty that we will be spending a lot of time discussing this at the AGM later this year (date not yet announced), so the directors should make sure that there is more than one hour scheduled for that meeting. | timbo003
10/10/2017 07:54 | 120p minimum price placing/bookbuild - Recent purchasers of shares being mugged -Had been overheated - Looks as though Graphene not flavour of day Also placing for AGM marked down 34% pre-market - Which will be the next Graphene domino to fall ? | pugugly
26/9/2017 13:50 | Yes petewy, that was a pleasing announcement this morning and hopefully the first of many orders destined for China >>>Diplomat I suspect Haydale source their graphene from a number of suppliers and I expect they will sometimes go with a supplier specified by their clients (end users). At one of the open days I recall someone from Haydale saying that graphene manufactured from graphite sourced from Sri Lanka and Sweden (Talga?) looked particularly suitable. | timbo003
26/9/2017 10:42 | Timbo 003I think I read the same article - was it this one?http://www.finne | diplomat65
26/9/2017 10:31 | Contract win is not a lot of money but Gibbs " we anticipate an ongoing and closer collaboration with Everpower to meet the growing demand for new product enhancing advanced materials in the Chinese market. We look forward to updating the market further when we issue our annual results for the year ended 30 June 2017 in October 2017" Looking good? Price is holding at 170+P | petewy
23/9/2017 20:45 | tim - just have to be as nice to him as I am, I guess ;¬) Yes, he's sailing close to the wind. When he calls me a liar, it's hard for me to claim my reputation's been damaged - being bad-mouthed by an anonymous buffoon with a bad case of logorrhoea might well be considered flattery in a forum like this - but when he embarks on organisations with reputations to protect, it's a different matter. Much as I hate to admit it, what's said on these boards can affect share prices, with obvious consequences for investors and companies. One only has to look at his latest ex-best friend, Warwick, who was seduced into buying vrs, and whose subsequent flip-flops have surely had an effect on the share price there and at phe. Oh well, we'll see what happens. I suspect Mr Ricketts will be arranging a date with nemesis sooner or later... | supernumerary
23/9/2017 13:49 | supern I'm envious, what do I have to do to get on the "never unfiltered" list? I thought I might have made it after I pointed out (with supporting data) that there might be another graphene supplier (First Graphite Resources), who had a graphene product that might be as good, or even better than Nanene. Was this not the ultimate sacrilege and worthy of my inclusion in the "never unfiltered" list? Sadly not. | timbo003
23/9/2017 13:34 | Indeed Pete, I was going to take that post apart, but it is just not worth the effort, I will just be repeating myself, so I will leave it there. I suspect Superg is now sailing close to the wind and isn't very far away from getting a letter from the Haydale Lawyers. I have taken screen shots of his most inflammatory posts, just in case he goes back to edit. | timbo003
23/9/2017 13:10 | lol. Don't worry - he's feeling a bit sore. Lombard Odier keep selling his beloved vrs, and his great coup in doubling up in the last placing isn't looking so bright any more. To make it worse, he thought vrs had won some magnificent graphene contract, only to be told it's worth a few tens of thousands of pounds at most. Duh. Still trying to big it up with lies about how the CPI think it's the best graphene in the world, when he doesn't even know if anyone else bid! Or maybe he's just too stupid to work out the limits of his own knowledge? Wouldn't have thought that was very hard ;¬) He's been marauding around several threads being as nasty as possible to everybody in sight. I'm beginning to suspect he's got a grudge against me, although I can't imagine why. Especially as I'm on his 'never unfiltered' list ;¬) Does anyone know what that is BTW? We have to make do with a filtered list, but sg has a 'never unfiltered' list. Is that like an amp that goes up to 11? | supernumerary
23/9/2017 10:08 | Can we stick to the subject which is Haydale. Take this minor squabble somewhere else SuperG1. | petewy
23/9/2017 09:49 | Superg, of course I will consider an apology, but only when you can show me exactly where I called you a liar. | timbo003
23/9/2017 08:00 | This hurts as I had to unfilter you to be able to post on this thread Timbo, once done back on filter. Not for you Timbo but you get a mention as Ray misled you. It's for Ray who reads this thread. Well done Ray, fair play you admitted the lies and changed the details on your website. No longer do you claim that ALL graphene/GNPs MUST be functionalised before it can be successfully dispersed, which of course was part of your sales pitch to funds on IPO and since. Please be sure to keep them properly informed in the future. Unfortunately Timbo fell for that believing you when I knew for sure it was untrue as the scientists at the NGI said so. Your lack of knowledge dragged Timbo in who spent considerable amounts of time trying to convince everyone I was wrong and that ALL graphene had to be functionalised. It caused Timbo to call me a liar and I won't back off when I know for a fact that Haydale were misleading the market not me. So you through your lack of knowledge on graphene OR your intentional misleading of the market to sell your company, you caused investors to believe you and not those that do research. However I can confirm that if that detail was added by you then it's most likely down to your considerable lack of knowledge about graphene because I have found some more bits where you are seriously lacking in knowledge. That would be my best guess only you know the truth. Hey ho we all make mistakes, in the Applied Graphene materials IPO they mentioned that you guys produce graphene . I know you worked hard to correct that misunderstanding and stated so in interviews and presentations. Shame about the false claim though. Doh! PS Can you get that multi-layer stuff off Goodfellow/Sigma or change the description of it as you know the ISO standard is under 10 layers. I see some has been discontinued so perhaps that is already being done. That's if you know the ISO came out. It's always good to clarify things and well done for taking it on the chin re the false information and putting it right. PS Why are the gas pipe seals yellow. I'm generally curious as adding low levels of GNPs into most things turns it black. Timbo any time you wish to apologise privately via the PM system for calling me a liar feel free. I understand, you fell for the statement by Haydale on the topic instead of listening to some silly old PI that knows far more about graphene than Ray. I spoke to the NGI related guys about dispersion BTW. Besides that it's in various science papers anyway. | superg1
15/9/2017 13:49 | Phonixs: I got out of VRS at 25p in April and warned the VRS BB board that it would fall even further. I was a non-believer,dismiss Matter closed. Phoenixs filtered. | petewy
15/9/2017 13:45 | Who said they did? and your point is? | timbo003
15/9/2017 12:35 | No wink wink nudge Timbo. Haydale does not have Graphene, VRS do have graphene. QED. | phoenixs |
