I'll be there.

Haydale are sponsoring a Graphene exhibition entitled
"Wonder Materials: Graphene and Beyond"
which will be at the Museum of Science and Industry (Manchester) from the end of July 2016 until June 2017

There are more details here:

Sounds like it would be worth dropping in you are in the Manchester area. The exhibition eventually goes on tour, starting with London in 2018.

>>>knownowt, thanks for that, I stand corrected (post now edited)

0.1% or $89m does seem very conservative given the very significant improvements seen in conductivity and tensile strength when Haydale's graphene products are used as additives.

Timbo, 1% of 89bn is 890m (assuming that a billion is still 1000 million - I remember when a billion was a million million!)

Here's the link to the proactiveinvestor video which I will also add to the header.

That was an exceedingly useful presentation.

The changes in strength and conductivity of the composites containing Haydale graphene seem to be getting better and better as things progress.

The mystery surrounding the $89mn vs $89bn is now solved:

The composite market is estimated to grow to $89bn by 2021 and the graphene additive component should account for 0.1% of that.

RG talked quite a bit about new IP so I thought it was worth checking to see what they have been filing at the IPO recently, it seems they have been quite busy recently:

That was a spirited presentation yesterday at Proactive Capital Capital conference.
I liked what he said, very positive and encouraging.
There will probably be a video recording on their website soon.

From the same Research and Markets website :

“The global Graphene electronics market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 16.3% from 2014 to 2020 and the overall Graphene electronics market was $58.53 million in 2013 and is estimated to reach to $1.5 billion in 2020.”

That $1.5bn is for the Electronics Industry only.

Your number does look a lot more achievable given the time frame.

The summary of this research I read said the market would be worth $89million not $89bn.

Ray Gibbs twitter:

"New research out showing the global Graphene composite market will be worth $89bn by 2021. Good news for Haydale!"

Having just a small % of that would do for me!

Not sure I understand the application, but this sounds very interesting and potentially scaleable with applications for other markets. Would be interested to know from others more qualified exactly what problem this solves.

"""" Haydale pleased to announce an agreement with Taiwan based Dowton Electronic Materials Co., Ltd., for the development, production, sales and marketing of a Haydale-branded graphene enhanced screen printable ink which will be aimed initially at the biomedical market.

Mr Hsu Shen-An, the Dowton CEO added:
"Working with Haydale has been surprisingly easy and the quality of the graphene pastes we have tested are simply some of the best performing we have seen, especially for conductivity and stability of performance, which is crucial for repeat sales. We are very excited by Haydale's graphene paste and have expectations of strong interest from our existing customer in the bio medical sensor market." """

At last good if not crucial news.

I'm quite happy with results today too, I hadn't expected Haydale to have progressed quite this far when I first invested at the IPO, so happy to hold and will add a few more in the ISA after April 5th if the share price stays around these levels.

On a related subject, there's a new (post results) interview with Ray Gibbs on Directors talk (see link in header)....worth a listen

I did, and I am not; the market has given me the opportunity to buy more at a lesser price. To me, the statement is very positive and I continue to hope for great things from my investment.
The recent share price performance has been dismal, the under-performance caused by a steady trickle of sales. Understandable in tricky markets when a company has no earnings, but Haydale, though still relatively 'early stage', is being invited to dine at fairly rich tables, such as Huntsman, and the relationship with NATEP has huge potential.

Video interview with Ray Gibbs

Ray Gibbs, chief executive of Haydale Graphene Industries PLC (LON:HAYD) says he is “very excited” by the launch of a range of carbon fibres enhanced with the 'wonder-material', the nickname for graphene.
Three new products are being launched: a tougher structural component carbon fibre aimed at the car, boat and sports goods sectors; a prototype carbon fibre tooling material; and an autoclave tooling product for very high temperatures.
“We have independent verification that our patented technology works; we have sales channels and satisfied customers placing repeat orders and now we have the funds to accelerate our commercialisation strategy,” he says.
