Great set of results posted as expected. Price moving already. Let's hope HTP finally get their due recognition. They have worked hard for this achievement and deserve the market's support.

You're right about the current tendancy for some companies' good results to result in price declines (see Bloomsbury Publishing for the arch example) and it may well be a matter of outlook (eg with Bloomsbury, the financial press have frowned on JK Rowling being so busy that she hasn't done her promised 5th book on time).

With HTP then, it might work in the opposite way. The outlook is quite strong now they have got their international bases established and, with Hewitt on board, can drive the consolidation and growth. The only qualifier might be that they will be soaking up monies on consolidation investment costs.

Quite a hard one to call this. Maybe the fact that the price hasn't done much at all for a while bodes well ?!

Yeah sorry got dragged into daytrading Arc International and madea few bob. Will monitor the "trade" today.

Jayno what I meant was that these days comapnies can announce good/bad results that have no effect on the share price. If the forwarding statement is less then encouraging the share price will fall. House of Fraser is a good example. On Wednesday they announced results that were in-line with expectations but the outlook is bright so the share price jumped 10%.

My question is judging by those growth figures it shows HTP have had their best year and maybe are now slowinglike the rest of them. Of course I'm just a novice and could be barking up the wrong tree.

One trade (again) yesterday... 100% sell. Maybe watching paint dry really could be interesting..

So you didn't buy after all BP. Pity. You could have singlehandedly doubled the day's turnover.

One day soon we'll get 3 buys in a row and call it momentum.

Results Monday, so only one day left for this pre results surge....

Exciting or what?

A little thing I have just notice maybe it's me being ignorant but growth was 185% in 2000 and 2001 is expected at 41.4%. Is this going to effect the outlook of the company ?

Done a little research myself and will be buying in the morning albeit at the right price.

Jayno - your posting here and elsewhere has not excited much action but somebody just spent £7k. If there's to be any rise ahead of the results (a week on Monday) it's getting a bit late..

Aquila

Thanks for coming on board to say hello!

yes, saw the chart, plus investtech's, who rate them a cautious buy I think

can't say I'm buying them on chart picture though

it's all about their forthcoming results, then their prospects in the next 9 to 18 months

I wonder what's going on here? If there is any trading at all it is a very small one or two "sells" first thing in the morning. The price is very slightly ticking down every couple of days.

I think one could say it is being "walked" down, but why?

Results due 3rd April and we already know they are going to exceed projections

For the record, the 1145 share deal that has just gone through is not a sale. It is my rollover T trade. I expect these to go up in the next few weeks.

Anyone still around in HTP? I like this outfit. I've just bought back in again as I think their story is strengthening and their results are due in a couple of months.

This stock has headed south recently, but had a good run before the drop. What do people think on the chart. Is there a chance that it could recover to £3, or will it keep falling. Any ideas as to why it has dropped ? There is no bad news for the company, so in my opinion I would guess it's just due to the falling market ?

Cheers.

this was tipped in shares magazine back in June i think.the price then was about160p and was underpriced.results were excellent and overseas expansion looking good.they would not be affected by nasdaq falls etc as well away from those sectors.
one of my better investments!!
