18/9/2003 08:20 | A few profit takers crept in on that big rise but I'd expect a decent bit of buyying the dip from those seeing the results today - mine are not for sale at this level. CR | cockneyrebel
18/9/2003 08:06 | luvverly job! havent got that many but may get more now ! | doolittle
18/9/2003 07:51 | Being marked up nicely pre-open. Set to do 3p eps at least on these results imo. If these were trading on the the 40 pe multiple of their peers then that would be 120p. Even if they just met expectations and traded on a PE of 30 that would be 80p. A steal for the sector imo. CR | cockneyrebel
18/9/2003 07:29 | Very positive statement and results - most bullish I've heard from any in the sector. Earnings grown well over last year, unlike the big guys in the sector. Compare to Robert Walters - 1.2p eps in H1, little growth and 93p a share. Hat Pin has greater eps and the shares are around half the price! Grossly undervalued imo. CR | cockneyrebel
18/9/2003 00:25 | Well, results tomorrow or Friday. With brokers estimates of 2.75p eps for the year, the PE sits at 19. I think that 1.2p or there about would be expected for H1 with an even better H2 at around 1.6p allowing for the continued growth expectations over the next 6 months. Should be a good couple of peer comparisons tomorrow. Michael Page (MPI), 2p eps in H1, share price 161p. Robert Walters (RWA) 1.2p eps in H1, share price 93p Harvey Nash (HVN) -2p eps in H1, share price 60p (HVN say H1 loss similar to last year). I think 1.2p eps in H1 and a share price of 53p looks rather attractive compared to the stocks above. CR | cockneyrebel
12/9/2003 18:40 | Sounds as though you have rather more than I do, CR, but you were always ready to stick your neck out and I hope it pays off this time. I agree with you on the figures: 3p would be great, but even 2.75p (T&G's forecast) would be good, if accompanied by an outlook statement that indicated that next year's 3.54p target might be reached. Considerable upside from here, I'd say, if all goes well. | diogenesj
12/9/2003 14:56 | Daily Mail said results on 18th - spoke to the company a few days ago and they said 18th/19th. Couldn't resist buying another 10K just now Diogenes (10400 actually) - now very long in these. All I can see is that if these post 3p eps for the year they are on a PE of 17 compared to PE's of 40 for Robert Walters and Michael Page and lord knows what PE for Harvey Nash because they just constantly lose money it seems. Of course, always a chance they do better than 3p for the year in which case these are deadly cheap. Look at the chart too - these respond to news in a rapid way :-) CR | cockneyrebel
31/8/2003 18:02 | Keep ramping, CR. I bought a few of these after you mentioned them elsewhere about 6 weeks ago: they're only up 36% so far, but I can be patient in a good cause. :-) Other recruitment businesses are flying, as the first signs of recovery appear. | diogenesj
28/8/2003 19:58 | I'm listening ; ) | doolittle
28/8/2003 19:27 | A number of decent buys today - start of things to come before the results perhaps? CR | cockneyrebel
28/8/2003 13:18 | Just got another £4.3K worth - have to buy when quiet imo. 4p eps for the year on a PE of 12. Michael Page 4p eps for the year on a PE of 41. Or get 4p eps for 50p a share here or get 4p eps for 166p a shar ewith MPI. Greater growth from HTP too. easy. CR | cockneyrebel
21/8/2003 09:48 | From the Daily Mail today: "Gay Haines recruiter Hat Pin rose 2.5p more to 47p, making the 2 day gain 7.5p - Interim figures on September 18 will not disappoint" CR | cockneyrebel
20/8/2003 10:58 | Looks like a 50K buy yesterday kicked the rise off - a protected trade published this am. That's a nice confident buy. CR | cockneyrebel
19/8/2003 21:28 | 15k were mine. | wjccghcc
19/8/2003 19:35 | Ah, there's someone else holding then :-) The tick up interested me - trying to guess why they moved the offer up a tick first thing - usually the sort of thing thety do with this stock when there's a director buy about to come out or some news. Might just be coincidence I guess. Definitely looks like a stock with a lot of upside potential to me. Michael Page up 10% yesterday - H1 eps 1.9p. Annualise that and you have these on a PE of 42. Hatpin expected to make 2.75p this year - a PE of 16 even after today's rise, and plenty of room to beat estimates. After the recent trading statement these look a great bet to me. Several 5K buys published after the close. CR | cockneyrebel
19/8/2003 19:23 | mine was the 1250 at 16.10 ...took at least 1/2 hour to go through... when I spoke to broker the offer was 44p on advfn monitor ... silly b*gg*rs going on | doolittle
19/8/2003 16:55 | Surprised not to see my 5K trade by the close. I can't believe my 5K and just one 1250 buy at the top price of the day made this walk up 5p in ticks all afternoon. CR | cockneyrebel
19/8/2003 15:17 | Oh well, just got myself another 5K while its quiet See you all a lot higher perhaps. CR | cockneyrebel
23/7/2003 11:56 | Someone has bought 6% of Prime People today at 10p, nearly double the current market price. Might be a good indicator as to the market having bottomed - may mean HTP are well undervalued too perhaps. CR | cockneyrebel
21/7/2003 13:06 | Due another leg up here but it will move to fast for most of the slow 'investors' that I see umming and arring over whether to buy this or that. Early birds catch the worm with this one. CR | cockneyrebel
14/7/2003 14:17 | funny investors - they chase stocks as they rocket then sit and watch as they miss a dip. Ah well. CR | cockneyrebel
11/7/2003 14:42 | often too late to buy when this gets going as it moves so quick - lovely dip to be had today. CR | cockneyrebel
