A precise herehtTps://www.sharecast.com/news/tips-round-up-premium/sunday-share-tips-supreme-harworth--8123636.html |
Recommended in the Sunday Times apparently. Would greatly appreciate if someone could post the article. |
Big site consent as some have already pointed out, 1000+ resi plots taking land bank to over 10,000 plots, must be an attractive addition for a house builder who wants a land bank but the industrial wouldn’t be of interest so probably needs a JV acquisition approach perhaps…or a blackstone as per st modwen |
Hwg finally getting to its correct level helped by beds and sheds which thankfully is all it owns. IC tout 200p as takeover price I think acquirer will have to pay a little more personally 230/240p is my stab in the dark but well placed and rising on some down days too which is always nice |
Great rise on good volume |
Very strong buy recommendation in Investors Chronicle. £2 plus. I think that is VERY conservative |
I personally think we are onto a winner here. Also purchased more |
more shares bought yesterday by management @163p |

Harworth lists 5 competitors in their remuneration report: St Modwen, Henry Boot, Urban & Civic, U + I, Inland Homes
2 of them have been acquired during the last 12 months:
St Modwen has been acquired by Blackstone Urban & Civic has been acquired by Wellcome Trust
It's time for HWG mgmt to announce a strategic review of the company including a possible sale.
Or even merging with Henry Boot given that Roditi has been building positions in both |
Staggered that this did not go up after such good results |
Other way round - can we trust U.K. shareholders to fund the realisation of the intrinsic value of the assets That's why St Modwen went |
Does that mean that we don't trust the management to realise the intrinsic value of the assets? |
Time someone made an offer for the company |
Decent results by Henry Boot this morning. positive ahead of HWG results tomorrow |
Results on Tue 14 Sep, what's in store? They flagged already strength within the logistics markets. BOOT reports on Mon 13 Sep so we will have a clue on logistics land development outlook from Monday |
Yep; one to watch on the open tomorrow General down day for REITs but this plunge still stands out |
Penny flipping at the auctions |
A late UT I would guess. Will look to add on any further fall. |
Anyone any idea for today's drop? |
Land regeneration company Harworth Group and greentech, a renewable energy company specialising in solar photovoltaic (PV), have submitted plans to Telford & Wrekin Council for the development of a solar farm at the site of the former Huntington Lane open cast coal mine.
The proposed solar farm will generate 28,500 MWh per year in renewable electricity, enough to power 8,650 homes. It will save 15,000kg of CO2 per year, making a significant contribution to the Climate Emergency and Telford & Wrekin Council’s target for the borough to be carbon neutral by 2030.
The project would be delivered by a joint partnership between Harworth and greentech. |
