So real fertilisers would possibly have difficulty competing with the payment and storage terms of the rock dust. Personally I think the deposit should be recognised and refunded, then paid or impaired within the terms of the agreement

Lower prices for real fertilisers could lose some orders for the dust, but hopefully Harvest contracts/sales will have made the 10% deposit non-refundable?
That's a big HOPE?
Obviously cancelled orders would have a effect on their recently announced JIT policy with orders given a production slot when deposit paid, though in reality that would be a storage slot or even a block.
There's always the option of another resellers Bonanza or more covers needed in October?

Phew, it’s a good job it’s not a traditional fertiliser then….I can’t imagine anyone waiting for the price of dust to fall…..especially if they don’t bother paying for it

Too much fertiliser, warehouse blocking and farmers playing the waiting game for prices to fall.
Bargains to be had?

Today's share price rise of 7% was encouraging though well overdue. There must currently be a strong 'feel good" factor when trying to guess the results for H1 due in Sept . HMI shares would be more than double the current price were it not for the collossal impairments of $3.9m charged in the last accounts. I was trying to look forward five-six weeks today

Remove those in one's mind for this year and the next H1 account should astound. Sales last year achieved A$57,16/T leaving an operating margin of A$42,25/T to cover semi-fixed costs of A$5.76/T allowing (in addition) for wages and salaries i.e A$36.49 nett. That's 64% of sales - an unusually high operating margin for any product and any company!.

Wages and salaries would not necessarily have increased in line with sales though Sales bonuses would no doubt be due on the astonishing volume growth of 340% achieved for H1 but surely we can add something to the sales prices achieved for Q2 from the Ukraine effect?

I make that out to dangle a huge marginal profit (that 64%) of sales on every ton sold after break even. I gave up guessing because it is going to be good anyway: pace the black Swan event or unexpected actions of the strong minded CEO.,

It's funny how these things turn out?

On the same day Verde announce a sales partnership with one of the largest agro product distributors in Latin America then Verde lose their appeal against the rejection of trademark 'BaKS' registration.
Any thoughts on what they should rename their transition 'BaKS' range?

With 1.2million tpa soon available this looks a good move for Verde?
Unlike Agrocerrado or Geociclo was for Harvest.

All very quiet?

Just had a look at Harvest latest landscaping efforts at the dust mine.

They seem to had created 3 separate ore stockpiles local to the sheds - outside of the mine site.

~11,000m2 (1.1ha) located to the west/adjacent to the plant feeder.
~8,000m2 (0.8ha) located just north of the 11,000m2 stockpile.
~20,000m2 (2.0ha) located on the soy/sugar fields of the farm (as per Enviro-licence)

Total = ~39,000m2 (3.9ha)

Not going to guess about the stockpile heights/quantity but for comparison the original storage stockpile for the trial mining (GUIA) 50kt was ~9,000m2 (0.9ha).

Looks like parts of the new storage shed roof are now going on?
Funny though, the raw dust at the mine site doesn't look any drier yet. Maybe it needs the whole roof installed plus the rainy season before the MD's plan to process wet ore is fully in place?

I'm holding back from investing here until firstly they clarify the anomaly with Royalty payment, and secondly if the Royalty payment is correct and they did sell that much more dust, then why are the borrowing some much money to increase the plant capacity to a capacity they have already achieved?

Not forgetting, where did the dust and revenue go?

What ever happened about funding clarity here? Is it best to do a placing or not?

Quite an anomaly in the last accounts FY to Dec 2021.
The Royalty (CFEM) payment is almost twice the expected 2% of revenue.
Previous years have been close to the 2% but last FY is 3.75%.
I've checked the ANM CFEM ticket website and the CFEM hasn't changed for phosphate at 2% and the site is still classed as a phosphate mine.
I suppose a CFEM ticket could be issued and the required CFEM paid, whereas the related invoice could be zero value or full discount?
Almost like giving it away.
AIMHO of course!
