LOL - no, it UT'd at 23p. You're looking at the late reported trades from earlier in the day, posting after close.

Are you part of the opec meetings? How do you know we will stay this low the next nine months?

Classic debt cat bounce, sucked in a few mugs, others may have made some decent gains yesterday. It’s not an investment with oil prices staying this low all year, the debt mountain will finish these off.

Look at (PPS), solid company with decent earnings, big contract win today, great stock to accumulate or buy on the pull backs..dyor

Shale is slashing spending. If SA and Russia can't agree on cuts, the oil price will lead to sharp decline in shale production and then higher prices. Either way, oil price should be higher in 6 months time.

eg Occidental is reducing 2020 capital spending by $1.7 billion

Tlw and PMO Both risky but I think Tlw is a bigger bargain

Sad, man.

They so nearly put validity back into this investment. So nearly beat the odds.

All that hard work for nothing -and now there's a fair few hundred people up in Aberdeen who'll remember the last time Premier was at these prices, wondering if they'll have a job in a few months' time.

it of course needs to stop the BP deal, it cant raise on equity. Zama will take time as its Mexicans they are dealing with. Other than that just weather the storm. Its a buy if they collapse the BP deal

It all depends on how low the low oil price is sustained for. Apart from stating the obvious, many will not be able to survive for sustained periods - FCF and servicing debt will be the route to survival

...and speaking of mugs might PMO expect similar mugging on the UT tonight?

Ordinarily the UT can only show a maximum of 5% variance either way from the cash close. Last night we saw 10%. They use extended price monitoring to get around the 5% rule, out of necessity.
