Onedb1, I agree with you, 150p is cheap. My frustration is in the sustained irrationality of the market and the persistent headwind dragging the share down whenever we seem to gather some momentum.

I've had a 150p-180p target for about as long as you have, I've watched it reach 100p only to be knocked down, reach 120p and be knocked down again - like a plaything for the CBHs and algo-driven II's. Just as it looked like it might hit 150p, the entire industry tanks and we get knocked back into 2016.

Right as it looked like the share price is mounting yet another recovery, that Times article kicks the legs out from it, and the Zama appraisal results didn't move the needle at all.

We can sit here on this board all day and say the share should be 100p, 120p, 150p, 180p, heck, why not invoke the spirit of that guy with the boat from the III board and call for 300p?
And yet the valuation of PMO's stake in Zama alone makes up the vast majority of our market cap.

The reality is that the expression rings true: "the markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent".

Forgive my pessimistic tone; it's just difficult to believe that the market will fairly value PMO when I've seen absolutely zero evidence of it happening in the last three years.

And vice versa if we acquire more NS assets we can utilise those losses more quickly. Masses of potential here but that don't pay the bills.

£4bn in tax write offs mean this company is very attractive to any North Sea operator who can use the writeoff

The going bust comment is not for Fire but that weirdo lodgeview . We know fear mongering has a bigger influence on bbs but you must be bordering desperation to suggest what you did . Read the accounts for once . Just note the reduction in breakeven per barrel and the hedges . You think all posters are numpties ? Premier was touching 80 before The Times article . Chart was looking good then .

Not with Ebitda being what it is. 150p is cheap . You got to be joking . We reached 145 only a few months ago and ZAMA had no appraisal and debt was higher . Once Ineos buys the Chevron assets the RI scaremongering will lift . As it stands Premier is no even close to going bust . What an insane thing to suggest . Read $45 is the level from which free cash flow starts . Read $60 current Brent futures , h1 34% hedged at $69 and H2 $71 ! The rest is just BS

The big cost of any TO is in the debt about £2B so to take out at 100p would cost £2.8B whereas a TO at 150p (probably acceptable to s'holders) is only an additional £0.4B.

Not one to post in dejection much (or post much at all for that matter), but I see the share price movement, the market cap, and the value of PMO's stake in Zama, and I'm beginning to hope for a takeover bid at 100p just to put this dog out of its misery.

dean: imagine, five thousand years from now, humanity long gone, nothing to find within the migrating sands of the scorched earth.

...nothing but an ADVFN server. It still boots. The alien species aghast.
