This means the final price will be 330p. It will now be part of Hansteen. Anybody who does nopt accept this offer will just loose there money end of story.

.........Therefore, unless shareholders wish to retain their holdings in what will become an unlisted investment fund with reduced liquidity and marketability, they should accept the Increased Offer without delay......

So 30p more offered ..still we hold a fair chunk already so shouldn't cost too much more

I think they just wanted it sold. Several of there investments seem to be coming to the end of there life span. I would call that very successful 30p a share extra for every share.

poacher, it's far from ideal, but agree with your assessment fwiw.

Why did Alpha not just bid?, they already held a large chunk.

There is no stamp duty to pay you are not buying property you are buying a company. This is a big advantage of the deal. If you check Palace Capital you will see that most of the property that they have bought has been because they have bought companies and saved a tremendous amount of stamp duty.

What is the prospect of having to pay stamp duty on the respective properties if we take over Industrial m/t ?

Hansteen holds 55% of Industrial multi trust but it will have to pay more for the remainder. This might not happen for another year but eventually it will happen. In the mean time it will have to absorb the extra costs of a listing and extra account fees and expenses. However in my opinion it will eventually have a cheap acquisition.

P, time to buy LLOY is on a down day imv, got up to 54.56 on sales,
added a small amount back under 54.

HMG still selling, but they don't have many left.

Unless we are heading for a marked UK slowdown looks rather cheap to me,
but as always may be wrong.

Well done for holdings guys!, I went in to ASCI, now out,
then LLOY, out this AM, although looking to buy back some LLOY on any dip.

Adding GSK, hoping a good move, not sure on the short term,
more convinced on a longer view.

And had a view DLG, very lucky on a Tuesday sale near the open on DLG,
it was just luck as the GE called hrs later and it dipped quickly form 3.48.
