Change of Accounting Reference Date

Hansa Trust PLC (the "Company") announces that it has today changed its accounting reference date from a year-end of 31 March to a year-end of 27 August. The change is in connection with the re-domiciliation of the Company to Bermuda and follows the scheme of arrangement under section 895 to 899 of the Company Act 2006, pursuant to which holders of A ordinary shares and ordinary shares will be issued with new shares in Hansa Investment Company Limited (the "Scheme"), the Scheme having been sanctioned by the Court at the Scheme Court Hearing earlier today.

Capitalised terms used but not defined in this announcement will have the same meaning as set out in the circular published by the Company on 4 July 2019.
