13/12/2013 21:45 | Thanks Rivaldo | gary38
13/12/2013 16:30 | Gary, the trade was deleted and re-reported at 230p. A fat finger somewhere! However, I don't think 260p will be too long coming. | rivaldo
13/12/2013 15:59 | 260.00 at 12.58pm!! | gary38
13/12/2013 15:50 | 2.60 at 12.58 ! | gary38
13/12/2013 14:40 | Rivaldo, yes, I suspect you are right re an acquisition rather than a dividend, but I am all for acquisitions as long as they are at the right price. Might be the Artemis note that has helped today and hopefully the momentum traders will have moved on and are being replaced by investors for the longer term. | goliard
13/12/2013 07:33 | HGR8 are mentioned in last night's Artemis VCT results as being their only new investment in their first half of the year. Which is nice: "At the half year stage we highlighted a dearth of new investments, with just a single investment in Hangar8, a private aircraft management business, being made during the first half of the year." | rivaldo
12/12/2013 09:38 | Goliard, imo another acquisition using the cash pile is more likely than a dividend given the comments about "strategic growth by acquisition" - and this would likely give the share price a nice kick. I agree re price targets - HGR8 have already stated that "results during the first three months of the new financial year are encouraging". Once investors can see 25p-26p EPS on the horizon - and perhaps a lot more given the good trading and an acquisition on top - 300p-350p should be easily achievable. | rivaldo
09/12/2013 14:17 | Looks like those who bought after the recent tip are selling out, which was always going to happen. Hoping to see about 300p after the interims in March next year and I am also wondering how long it will be before we start to see a dividend being paid. | goliard
09/12/2013 09:52 | Yep, looks like a little profit-taking following the recent great run. Westhouse are forecasting 22.3p EPS for this year and 25.4p next year, so a single-figure P/E - and even better on an EBITDA basis and with a cash pile to take into account. I believe those forecasts will be beaten anyway. It won't be long imo before there's another run-up, especially with the interims due around 1st March or so. | rivaldo
09/12/2013 09:19 | ADVFN trades history today not accurate. I bought another 1,000 at 9:13.ADVFN records as a sale! | turnerpa51
06/12/2013 07:53 | Indeed WJ - this seems to me a particularly positive RNS from AIP as regards HGR8. Incidentally, re post 125, HGR8 do not own jets - they are an "operator" of private jets. In summary, from their admission RNS: "The Hangar 8 group (the "Group") derives income from both aircraft owners for whom it manages their aircraft ("Owners"), and third party charter customers." | rivaldo
06/12/2013 07:42 | Warning? You mean on the positive side? "The Commercial Jet and Private Jet divisions continued to trade in line with our expectations during the Period. Growth in Commercial Jets has been driven by the UK and Continental Europe. Private Jet growth has come predominantly from the UK and US. The launch of the Performance Card, Air Partner's new corporate JetCard has also been well received. The Freight division has performed significantly ahead of the comparative Period. " | wjccghcc
06/12/2013 07:41 | AIP state that "trading during the period has been encouraging" - in the context of an RNS the word "encouraging" is a rather bullish word to use. Good news. | rivaldo
06/12/2013 07:39 | Mild profit warning from AIP but mostly on freight side. Expectations unchanged | dewtrader
06/12/2013 07:22 | Hangar8 own jets, AIP just rent lease as a broker | ayl30
06/12/2013 07:14 | Similar business type, jts. Their statement doesn't seem to give any cause for concern so let's hope Hanger's p/e gets nearer to AP'S. (20+) BR. | blackrabbit
06/12/2013 06:10 | Is air partner linked in any way to hangar 8? Or just same business type? | johnthespacer
05/12/2013 15:15 | Good spot Blackrabbit - it's due tomorrow :o)) | rivaldo
05/12/2013 14:22 | Isn't there a trading statement due from Air Partner, which, if good could propel Hanger to even higher levels. BR. | blackrabbit
05/12/2013 09:27 | Looking at the results in more detail I'd hope for a pleasant surprise this year from HGR8. HGR8 achieved just over £1.1m EBITDA (i.e adjusted PBT) in H2 last year, incorporating the newly acquired IJC. Westhouse's forecast for this year is £2.41m PBT, or 22.3p EPS. This assumes growth of only just over 9% this year, which seems to me to be pretty conservative given (a) the bullish tone of the results and (b) the improving global economy, plus (c) HGR8's excellent revenue visibility and (d) synergies and improvements resulting from IJC's full integration. | rivaldo
04/12/2013 08:38 | Cheers El1te. New all-time highs now, and every reason to believe there's much more to come imho. | rivaldo
03/12/2013 11:58 | Ahh well. I suppose you have to miss a few rockets along the way :). Just to add to the positivity: Note that my main issue with respect to liquidity has been blown away, especially since Dryden took the astute move of selling down part of his holding. Will pop back when another RNS is released or if it continues to jet away. Until then, good luck to everyone. El1te | el1te
03/12/2013 11:22 | Well, that was nice :o)) New highs now. Much more to come imho. The Westhouse commentary on Citywire reads well: "'Buy' Hangar 8, Westhouse says Westhouse has initiated aircraft logistics specialist Hangar 8 (HGR8.L) with a 'buy' recommendation, saying the valuation doesn't reflect the strong outlook for the company. Hangar 8 operates privately owned jet aircraft, encompassing chartering, operational support and engineering support services. 'With signs of recovery in its end markets, we believe the combination of growth, high returns and balance sheet strength on offer are not reflected in 2014E price to earnings and enterprise value/earnings multiples of 10x and 4.6x, respectively. We initiate with a Buy rating and a 270p target price,' analyst Kevin Fogarty said. 'We initiate with a Buy rating and a 270p target price.'" | rivaldo |
