22/11/2013 08:52 | In HGR8's case I'm content to use the 19.1p adjusted EPS, since: - the exceptionals are non-recurring and - stripping out amortisation is exactly what 99% of companies do since it more truly reflects cash flows from operating activities Cantor's previous target price was 240p. I wouldn't be surprised to see this lifted somewhat, though even 240p would be a decent return at this price. | rivaldo
22/11/2013 08:37 | rivaldo - the non-adjusted EPS is probably a more useful measure given that the adjusted eps accounts for amortisation and positive exceptional items. Nonetheless, eps growth of 98% is good. That was mainly dricen by the engineering and management sections, with charter revenues partially offsetting that by declining by a third | el1te
22/11/2013 08:28 | An extremely good read! I've bought this morning. With adjusted EPS up 148% to 19.1p, compared to 7.7p last year, one could forecast say 25p EPS this year at minimum? Plus there's a strong Balance Sheet, with £3.8m cash against a £19m m/cap. And the outlook is extremely rosy: "Current trading in the first quarter of the new financial year has enjoyed a strong start, and is in line with our expectations with further new aircraft in the process of being introduced." | rivaldo
22/11/2013 08:23 | The shares are going up today but any thoughts on 'Trade and other receivables' being more than 9 months sales, who are they dealing with and are they actually going to pay ? | spooky

16/11/2013 18:19 | I was offered 196.9 when it started to retrace on Friday afternoon but waited for further retrace. After which it firmed to 200 and 201. I like the share but haven't has much chance to research it properly, It came to my attention as a top mover but I like the nicheness. Results were delayed from Thursday and are now due next week. It could really fly or else there might be selling on the news so it is difficult for me to know whether to jump in or not. | mach100
15/11/2013 16:14 | I was buying between 192p and 197p and didn't really want to pay £2.05. Just got another 5,000 at 201p. | goliard

15/11/2013 14:44 | Really struggling to get hold of stock here. Managed about 6,000 over the last week, but most orders going unfilled. I like the prospects and the recovery in the economy should trickle down here next year. Hoping to sell at over £3 at some point in the next 12 months, but if they start paying a dividend I might just keep them. | goliard
14/11/2013 17:06 | Website back up today. | pvb
14/11/2013 11:08 | It's still 4 v 1 - I don't think they've got much Expecting it to push on | rollsroycesilvershadow
13/11/2013 20:43 | Why has the Hangar 8 website been offline all day? | pvb
12/11/2013 18:49 | Taken another 2000 today, i think loobrush's guess of 230 or more is conservative. This is heavily operationally geared and could suprise to the upside and get some broker upgrades. | handwinder
12/11/2013 12:04 | Two days to go before results with a bit of luck should exceed old high of appx 230 or even better if results really good | loobrush
07/11/2013 09:49 | This thing is starting to get some decent momentum behind it. It should certainly be well north of 200p on fundamentals. | geraldton1
07/11/2013 09:35 | An upgrade to forecasts may well be on the cards, 250-270? even at that it would be well below Air Partners. Lets see what happens on the 14th | handwinder
06/11/2013 07:39 | PS: A new PR firm is on board as well... | geraldton1
06/11/2013 07:39 | Announcement today to say that results are on 14 November and that trading is in line - also that it has enjoyed a 'strong' start to the new financial year. Shares have gone up a bit recently, but they should never really have been down where they were imho. Can see it pressing on through 200p post results, - particularly if they look to pay a dividend (CEO has a big stake here). Any thoughts? Text below: Notice of final results The Company is pleased to announce that it will be releasing its final results for the year ended 30 June 2013 on 14th November 2013. Annual General Meeting The Company will be holding its AGM in the morning of 20th December 2013. Further information relating to the time and location will be announced along with the results. Trading Update The Company has enjoyed a good start to the new financial year and trading is in line with management expectations. | geraldton1
05/11/2013 09:53 | Some very heavy hints in that businessinsider link and the Dryden quote! | old tyke
04/11/2013 21:39 | I bought for the first time about a week ago. Results were expected by end of October, but apparently slightly delayed, from above link: "Figures for the year to the of end June, to be released on Nov 14 will show Hangar8 had an "exceptionally good year", said Mr Dryden." | sammu
04/11/2013 16:32 | Having a good run today. Think its just you and I on here Old Tyke! See below...looks interesting. hxxp://www.businessi | geraldton1
04/11/2013 15:11 | Geraldton - I agree with you on all your points. Have owned it for a few months. Air P gets all the attention (eg in the IC), whilst this is quietly building its fleet. Expect this month's numbers to have some reasonable news on progress of the last acquisition. | old tyke
04/11/2013 08:33 | Anyone out there looking at this one? The last trading update was pretty positive and said things were on track - forecasts point to PBT of £2m and EPS of 19.8p, for 2014 it rises to PBT of £2.8m and EPS of 24p. Compared to Air Partner this share is very cheap. Also, the price is pretty much what the institutions paid last year in the £4m placing. Results must be imminent. | geraldton1 |
