I think continued above average growth to come, and who knows what else might be on the cards, either way I am staying put.

elm.. I notice that the forecast EPS (about 20) is significantly higher than the usual steady increase year on year.
Do you have a view on why this might be?

Very good results this morning and that fickle fellow Mr. M marks the price down. Divi about 2.7%.
Rude not to buy some more.

Depends on your timeframe imo.

Some of the large global engineering stocks like Melrose(MRO)
look far better value short term on 2011 PER's, imv.

They do supply the Oil Industry.
They have 3 Companies in the Industrial Safety sector.

I have spoken to the MD of the PR Dept at Halma and am awaiting
clarification on this.

Don't think so. Aren't they more to do with building safety than the oil/gas industry?

Is anyone aware if Halma were supplying safety equipment to BP?.

This will be bought back aggressively on any snap back in the markets imv.

Halma's forward PER of just over 13.5x, when Rotork's PER is 17.

That gap will close quickly imo.

Bought some HLMA this morning.

Halma trades on a 25% discount to Rotork(ROR).

Full year results in June, which the Market knows will be very strong
given the recent ahead of expectations TS.

Throws off cash, may be worth watching at the very least.

I would have thought that alot of Halma's product and compononts are
transported by air, and Halma still derive a good deal for profit from the UK.

If the no fly zone continues, it may be worth bearing in mind.

Its come up sharply from the 225 level,
so may retrace some of that gain.
