A good burst up today,is 240p on the way again?
Only thing worrying me is that this recent rise has been against the direction of the chart and there has been a tremendous fall off in volume this year.
In fact the share price has been below the 90day weighted average since 2006 and I don't understand this. Can someone explain why?
The recent acquisition news did'nt fire up the sp,either!
I hope that the recent momentum continues and we can see a rise above 240p.Halma deserves it.

A solid attempt to cover lost ground after market shakes.

Chart seems to have got lost so here is an updated version. Looks seriously oversold so could move up off the 50 day SMA, and head for new hights - I hope.

Halma is a fantastic company, but it is fully priced at this level.
I expect a short term price correction.

Back again with the question of the weak dollar. Will be an opp to buy.Interesting to see if the share price becomes volatile and not like the normal ,sedate behaviour I am used to!

Struggling to get past 240 at the moment despite or maybe because of the recent acquisition. Maybe the market's trying to decide if it's a good move or not. Last year there was a trading statement late April. Results not due until June.
CHART RESUBMITTED as at 12th.

A new support line up the middle of the old channel seems well estbalished now, and the share price is trying to push through the resistance line to new highs. What a nice share this is turning out to be.

A small rise on a day like today is encouraging IMO.

Some chunky very late sales - profit taking presumably.

Looks like it may have broken through the longish term resistance line. Not an easy chart to draw lines on though, other than the support line.

Nice rise today against the market. I take that as a good sign to hold on. The stock I was thinking of switching into wnet down today. Looks like I'm still in with you elmfield.

One of my best long term holdings, hold on tight, you are always wrong selling Halma if you take long term view, see chart since 1986!

Statistically speaking, according to the LSE Almanac, next week is the strongest week of the year and the week after is the 2nd strongest.

If the market is strong and Halma doesn't go with it then I may cash in my profits, and move the funds into something else.

Good old HALMA, closing at all time high should put it in front of a few more screens, Outstanding company, buy and hold. In my honest view, and has been for 25 years!
