14/7/2016 08:51 | Mr Toffee Man, I have indeed. We needed to breach 2.98 for long term weakness to be sustained. Given the current undervaluation and stronger than expected results I feel there is some real long term value here. Not only have I closed I have purchased 11,113 shares today to partake in the rally to come. The fundamentals are sound the dividend is intact and the potential awaits. The trading range indicators the computer points to are 318 lower resistance and 3.37 upper resistance.HFD was once £5.60 interesting to see how long it will take to hit that range again. As I've said some great long term potential here and still enough room for appropriate trading when volatility occurs.Good luck Toffee. | kendonagasaki
14/7/2016 08:12 | Yo Kendo - you closed your short? | toffeeman
14/7/2016 08:06 | Well it looks as if we have a new trading range confirmed to day.£3.30 is are the building blocks from here on in.Long term I am bullish here so value to unlock here. | kendonagasaki
14/7/2016 07:32 | Morning Nick. It's not a complete disaster and they are doing better then M&S?Good to see most of the product is hedged at a rate 1.45 to the dollar. Auto centres has continued to perform strongly and will grow stronger in the recessionary environment that is imminent, IMO.The Retail side is down but not as much as I initially thought so I'm expecting a wee bounce down this morning. The weather has impacted bike sales as I though but if we have an Indian Summer and fun at the Olympics, all could change? For now Halfords remains an undervalued business that has remained overlooked like a few others in the FTSE 250.Let's see what the wind brings....? | kendonagasaki
14/7/2016 06:46 | I'm going long, the news may not be good, but the low share price will be highlight I think witch won't allow for that sort of movement | nick9013
13/7/2016 17:53 | I'm short for tomorrow.I think it will have been impacted along with other retailers. However I do agree this is cheap! But one can always get cheaper. They could become an acquisition target below £3?Let's just wait for the results. | kendonagasaki
12/7/2016 12:13 | Going the right way here. Ready for Thursday - Bank of England results also. Still cheap ? | nick9013
11/7/2016 13:59 | boring day today No more Wimbledon Euro football finished and a rest day in the tour i'll have to start doing some work i guess | spob
10/7/2016 23:10 | Cycling is more popular than ever, the results will be good. Hfd is a strong steady retailer | akbar:
10/7/2016 17:11 | Given the results of figures released by recent retailers and the Brexit whammy I can't see HFD having performed that well.If we are lucky they are flat, if not then they IMO will be negative in LFL figures? As I post Tim H has just won Wimbledon.Let's hope for some British TDF and Olympic winners, we're going to need them.I'd like to say I'm positive long term as I believe HFD to be well undervalued given the fundamentals here. However the weather for cycling has just not happened so far this year and we are already in July.....?As I be said I can see this fall further below £3 pounds this week if figures aren't up to scratch and I then believe that we are in danger of a being a predatory target given the £ versus the $ scenario. The CEO and the number 2 have been in the driving seat long enough to formulate a plan that works and from the giddy heights of £5.50 plus when Matt Davis left seems a lifetime ago compared to where we might be heading now.My glass is half full and I will be a buyer at under £3. | kendonagasaki
08/7/2016 14:48 | Looking good here | nick9013
07/7/2016 00:21 | Mm's all longs and shorts here IMO.They announce next week and given the undervaluation here any good new will certainly light up the runway! All IMO. | kendonagasaki
06/7/2016 10:24 | Here we go £3 broken.May be time for a position here? | kendonagasaki
05/7/2016 12:26 | I believe news will bounce this back 15% 20% and I do believe the news to be good, just go in to a store and see yourself. | nick9013
05/7/2016 12:04 | Another half a penny and it is back to where it fell on Brexit day.Testing the year low twice in a week looking likely. | kendonagasaki
05/7/2016 11:39 | Well it's now looking very cheap!?If results are good could see a 10% plus bounce! | kendonagasaki
05/7/2016 08:30 | Depends on the next set of results? If not we go below £3.Risk of a takeover here if we go below that IMO. | kendonagasaki |
