27/2/2019 08:13 | Mea culpa, as I had mis-read the Numis note. The note mentions indeed that LiveIt penetration has reached on the 15% on the gym that they visited. I would like to thank a fellow chat participant for pointing that out. (obviously this changes nothing at all my bullish view on the stock) | thomshrike
25/2/2019 09:40 | Numis note out today on Travel & Leisure mentions that, during a field trip to one of their gyms, GYM's management said that LiveIt penetration has now reached 15% (vs. 11.7 at year-end). I hadn't seen this number mentioned before and looks very bullish to me. | thomshrike
19/2/2019 10:19 | Unfortunately that's very true. | thomshrike
19/2/2019 08:38 | Trends rule until news changes the direction. | rathean
18/2/2019 16:04 | 2019 ev/ebitda multiple, using consensus: Basic-Fit: 11.6 Gym Group: 6.0 ... | thomshrike
14/2/2019 08:17 | That'll need lots of work on your Glutes. 🤸a | hawaly
13/2/2019 16:04 | MIGHT have been the washout yesterday then. A little bit of sense coming back into the market today, but we really need to make a firm bottom. | sphere25
13/2/2019 13:50 | It could be short positions being closed, I'm still watching to see if we bounce off 175 before piling in again. Still on my dead certs list but timing important here imo dyor ofc. | rathean
13/2/2019 12:30 | Finally some decent buying here. I had become bullish with the strong reaction when the stock touched 200p in recent weeks, but was subsequently getting wary after renewed weakness. To me, also after speaking to analysts, it looks as though bulls are on the sidelines waiting for more clarity and discussions with management, whereas some holders have to sell given internal stop-loss guidelines. Hopefully some bargain-hunters will start looking at the stock, also given the increasing valuation gap vis-a-vis peer Basic-Fit. | thomshrike
13/2/2019 11:00 | Somebody is bullish - a buy of 293,566, worth £587,000 at 200p, went through this morning. | masurenguy
12/2/2019 17:15 | Looks a duff one this in the short term. I thought buying around the 205 mark would have been a good entry point, even in the short term. Stock keeps making new lows and the line of sellers here is just endless, one sell order on the offer, after the next after the next. I don't believe the fundamentals have deteriorated that much to cause this type of exacerbated move. There might be some forced redemption selling going on here, can't see why else the stock would get dragged to this level. Needs a washout now - support has gone. A move to about 180 looks likely now. Surely that must clear the sellers on fundamentals! Perhaps the lack of director buying speaks volumes. Time will tell! | sphere25
12/2/2019 13:11 | Still slipping south and even closer to the original IPO - why are there no director buys at this level? | masurenguy
10/2/2019 17:30 | Has this warned on profits Something nasty | opodio
10/2/2019 17:05 | I appreciate that Treharne is retiring but Gilbert and Spavin are not and they both sold 200,000 and 356,000 @310p & 330p respectively last autumn. Now that the shareprice @200p is off by 40% over the past 3 months, and is virtually back to it's IPO level of 195p, it would be much more encouraging to see those same directors topping up by buying at this lower level. Still on my watchlist - no position as yet. | masurenguy
10/2/2019 12:49 | As promised, Wolves The Gym at 7:30 this morning was quiet but soon filled up. Plenty of punters at 8:20 when I left, impressive for a wet Feb Sunday morning. This and the Newport gym being busy are indicative nothing more but good to see - I've belonged to much higher costing gyms on yearly contracts that don't get as busy except at peak times. | rathean
08/2/2019 08:38 | Just added a few at 200.68, great value imo assuming stop loss not triggered. I use The Gym and it was rammed last night in Newport, will report back from Wolverhampton in due course after their refit. | rathean
05/2/2019 15:58 | Many small-caps which were hammered in the December market-wide general sell-off are now increasingly back in growing demand. Investors want to get on board before the market runs away | quepassa
05/2/2019 15:37 | Also peer Basic-Fit has rallied in the last 2 weeks. It should only be a matter of time before GYM starts catching up. | thomshrike
05/2/2019 12:28 | Alot more interest from market participants here very recently. Looks like the sellers are being cleared out at depressed levels. Definitely not a buyer up at 330 but this is massively oversold and there is value down here around the 205-210 mark. The last statement was hardly disastrous, just a delay not a significant change in fundamentals. I'd be surprised if buyers here didn't reap at least 20% once these last few fund manglers have given their stock away cheap. Sphere - long | sphere25
05/2/2019 12:27 | More hefty buys today... 11:32:51 208.0000 137,500 O 206.0000 208.0000 Buy 09:25:56 204.0000 500,000 O 202.5000 204.5000 Buy 09:21:11 204.0000 500,000 O 202.5000 204.5000 Buy | turbocharge
04/2/2019 16:34 | Somebody might be looking to build a stake here...? 16:26:30 205.0000 70,000 O 203.0000 204.0000 Buy | turbocharge
30/1/2019 12:06 | Just added a few at 201 and change, made some on the spike yesterday afternoon, maybe more of the same... stop loss in place. | rathean |
