25/11/2020 15:41 | And the market brings them down under 1018p as the US market opens, this is so obvious the Yanks want gvc for a gift, 666 KA was correct. | srpactive
25/11/2020 09:08 | f66 Yes that is why it it is being held down, we were 1200p, on the announcement of the joint venture Summer 2018, now the US jv is being valued at 3.7bn pounds, so we should be 1800p now, then the bid premium. Now you can see why we are being held down. KA would not have stood for this, and he knew with his 666 announcements. dyor | srpactive
25/11/2020 09:04 | So if the share price hovers around £10 and there was a bid 58% higher , close to 1600 would be comparable. Whilst that is impressive imagine applying a growth PE ratio to the US profits in 3 years time.... Would not want to get picked off too early... | fenners66
25/11/2020 08:58 | Thanks guys. | fenners66
25/11/2020 08:12 | The key to any serious move higher is if we can close above 1019p, now seeings that we are being held back this will be a challenge. Proof this morning up 12p then seconds later down 1p. dyor | srpactive
24/11/2020 22:14 | Fenners - Caesars Entertainment Inc and William Hill confirm that they are in advanced discussions concerning a possible cash offer of 272p per share for William Hill. - This represents a 25% premium to the William Hill closing share price of 218p on 24 September, or 58% to the closing price of 173p on 1 September (before the first Caesars approach). But 13% below the previous day’s close. | wilco69
24/11/2020 21:59 | Well if this goes to 1600 as mentioned 25% on top is 2000! We might have to wait awhile longer. Let's see what March brings. GLA | badger8888

24/11/2020 19:15 | What was the premium % for the William Hill bid ? | fenners66
24/11/2020 18:40 | As we saw with WMH ,Thd Yanks don’t like the idea of foreigners owning a substantial % of their online gambling markets & they know the substantial potential for massive profits from the US market -avid therefore cannot be our of the question ,especially before US revenue ramps up further & profitability beckons .I am planning to invest my WMH proceeds here & I have held since the embyrionic days of SBT .WhT we don’t need is a ‘done deal ‘ as with WMH & although shareholders can hardly complain at 272 (bearing in mind the recent lows) the view was still that their US interests were sold cheaply | base7
24/11/2020 18:25 | Furlough is only £35m, if they increase 2019 div by 10% that’s only £220m, both are comfortably covered by fcf leaving some for deleveraging and more bolt on deals. | wilco69
24/11/2020 18:11 | Gvc paying a dividend without repaying furlough rates etc.. will be very tricky.. A dividend paid in shares might be more palatable | italianofacile

24/11/2020 17:20 | We should have a better idea of progress following the 4th quarter update on the 21st January. Full results are due on the 4th March. | badger8888
24/11/2020 15:29 | GVC have never shied away from paying out special dividends. So if the board feel it is prudent at present to withhold dividends, only for it to be realised at a later date that such prudence was unnecessary, then I'm sure we will get our slice of whatever is available. At least that would have been the case with Kenny at the helm. It is also worth noting that when GVC announced that they would be withholding the dividend earlier this year, the shares went up by far more than the value of the dividend because the market were in favour of such prudence. | popper joe
24/11/2020 15:03 | Dividend for this year is gone. The next news on dividends will be at the finals next March, if we’re still in and out of lockdown they’ve said they probably won’t pay. | wilco69
24/11/2020 12:48 | Hope the dividends come back soon, will we get this year's dividend or has it gone forever? | andyj56
24/11/2020 12:41 | My post 40096 is also very good news.I think this could be a factor when deciding if dividend is reinstated at the time of the March results. | coxsmn
24/11/2020 11:38 | Another strong weekend in the US.The punters have been hammered 4 times this NFL season weeks 8,9,10 & 11, all in November.Ludicrous this is down, the monthly figures, especially the hold for November will break all records and as a knock on the other states faffing around will need to take a bit more notice of higher levels of income being missed out on | the white house
24/11/2020 10:41 | KA always stated 2000p. | srpactive
24/11/2020 10:19 | .......and the price will be? Take out MGM & GVC? | badger8888
24/11/2020 09:50 | K It is being kept down for the bid from the US, come on anyone can see that, it will probably arrive next Spring. active | srpactive
24/11/2020 09:25 | All this good news yet our share price seems to be in a continual decline this last few weeks... | kart0
