05/2/2018 17:57 | Bitcoin hype before xmas was the biggest con going (and there's been plenty). The press & city boys were pumping it up daily and sucking in not only mug punters but even some experienced ones as well. The usual sharks will have made a mint. I virtually had to beg a mate of mine not to buy any, he bought me a pack of cigars at weekend to thank me. | oohrogerpalmer
05/2/2018 17:21 | The plunge continues in the Bitcoin share price with billions being lost taking a load of liquidity out of the market. Down nearly 12% today and heading south. Just before Christmas it reached its high of $19,700, now it's down to $7,280. | mylands
05/2/2018 13:46 | Mylands, Indeed, I had no idea the Dow would fall 600 points on Friday. Who did? Maybe the GVC share price would have been here soon anyway? Looks to me like it's been in a downtrend since the beginning of January. Even some apparent long term holders have been bailing recently. As I said, I didn't like the handling of the Turkish business, am not a fan of the Lads takeover and don't think we're being told the whole story re the Greek situation either. Maybe the Dow situation has just accelerated the fall a little? The chart is indeed impressive - and I've made great profits in the run up over the past couple of years as have most here. Now it's time for prudence, imo. Hence I remain out. | woodhawk
05/2/2018 13:23 | woodhawk I take my hat off to you, but then I bet you never saw the Dow falling by 2.5% on Friday and down by 4 % in the space of a week. So, not surprising we have fallen back. Take a look at the 12mth chart, impressive in my book. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | mylands
05/2/2018 13:22 | Investors relations says that the new dividend policy will be published in prospectus where the new shares will be issued for LAD buy . | t 34

05/2/2018 11:59 | Those who use a lot of exclamation marks to emphasise their point probably dont believe in what they are saying deep down... | nurdin
05/2/2018 11:57 | I do not think the divi is a certain thing in new situation : LAD deal and Greek tax !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | t 34
05/2/2018 11:37 | Looks like 2nd time heading under 900p, Mylands - still awaiting your first 1000p!! | woodhawk
05/2/2018 10:46 | Thank you. | srpactive
01/2/2018 08:41 | Active Their interest is described as the number of voting rights that may be acquired if the instrument is exercised or converted - 15,920,120 shares. In my book, call options. They also hold 530,813 shares. | mylands
01/2/2018 07:37 | Goldman Sachs has increased by the looks of it, how brilliant to have those people on board, dyor. | srpactive
30/1/2018 10:35 | Festario Yes, it was but I realised I had included Cash Settled Derivatives for several of the larger institutions, which increased the total. These have now been removed, which took the total to 79% and yesterday we were at 80.29%. | mylands
29/1/2018 18:17 | I thought one of your recent updates had the Instis at 85%? | festario
29/1/2018 14:48 | Thanks Mylands. Quite a vote of confidence | shaker44
29/1/2018 14:24 | Haven't posted on the share holdings being declared daily for a week or so. Here's an update. What has been good to see is that the level of institutional support is increasing with new investors coming on board. Today BD Capital revealed a 1.01% stake and Old Mutual upped their stake by nearly 1.5 million to 19.6 million (6.46%). Total of institutional investment now at 80.46%. | mylands
29/1/2018 09:12 | All this to me is just another underhanded Greek trick to show the EU how much they are getting in tax revenues, its to fool the EU accountants (again) that they are complying with the bail out agreement. | oohrogerpalmer
29/1/2018 09:01 | Nurdin Your use of the word 'annoying' shows the measure of how far GVC have come over the past few years when it is used to describe a monthly payment of nearly 8 million Euros a month! I was quite expecting another move downwards this morning after the weekend press comments have brought this Greek tax payment situation to a much wider audience. | mylands
28/1/2018 13:54 | The annoying aspect of this saga is that GVC are having to pay 7.8m per month just to continue trading...or seen the other way, continue holding their license. That is extortion imo.The case will probably be drawn out for atleast 2years and there is no guarantee that GVC will be able to claim back their monies at the end.Ah well... | nurdin |
