09/9/2020 15:36 | I'm here since Party Gaming days. My break even is £10.80 not allowing for any additional return. £12 is a small profit, £20 would be great. Will have to wait for that figure. Good luck to all. | badger8888
09/9/2020 15:06 | Don't forget about Verizon (owner of Yahoo). They are testing the water with sports betting and have the affiliate deal with BetMGM. They should definitely be looking at acquisitions. | merism
09/9/2020 14:56 | I agree. I'm monitoring the US and the GVC/MGM pirahna is nibbling more market share every day. Outside of the US we are continuing to take market share in all key territories. Then there are new territories still to pursue. Its a story of continued growth of 10%+ per annum and we are cheap! | coxsmn
09/9/2020 14:34 | ...that's why I think selling out for 10-12 would be a mistake... | cheshiremoggie
09/9/2020 14:33 | Fair enough but I'm a bit more ambitious than that. GVC has always been lower rated than rivals - a correction to that would take the share price above 12. I also think that the US business could be worth at least 5 to GVC in a few years - then there is the rest of the world.Add them up. I'm thinking 20 in 5 years. If it all goes to plan etc etc. IHMO | cheshiremoggie
09/9/2020 14:27 | 12 would be nice. If it takes a few years and the US takes off the number will hopefully somewhat higher. Time will tell. | badger8888
09/9/2020 14:01 | Interesting. So you guys are hoping for a GVC buyout - given usual premiums to current share price you are looking at around £10-£10.50. Would you all be happy with that? | cheshiremoggie
09/9/2020 12:41 | The good news is that both Amazon & Google have the funds. Apple have even more money but not as good a fit. Not forgetting Private Equity. | badger8888
09/9/2020 10:54 | Yes I was thinking amazon myself. | srpactive
09/9/2020 10:10 | Google Alphabet have very deep pockets. Their loose change could buy both business. Just thinking, someone posted a couple of years ago that GVC is really an IT company now, it could work for Google. | badger8888
09/9/2020 09:07 | Ah, I guess one company could buy both. However, MGM has a market cap of 11.2 billion so it would have to be someone with very deep pockets to afford that when you add in GVC at a mere fraction of that. I can see it 10 years them having similar market caps though and then full merger in 10 years | trentendboy
09/9/2020 08:41 | No, quite true. The Barclays article was a tactic to lower the price, they should be ashamed of themselves. The only way the ftse can get some realmovement is if we can get some large technology companies on it instead of just old school businesses from yester year. GVC is one that could help. dyor | srpactive
09/9/2020 07:50 | But it does not stop someone else T/O GVC ? | garycook
09/9/2020 07:50 | teb I did not mean each other, by another that buys both. | srpactive
09/9/2020 07:46 | I think the GVC mgm deal prevents TO of each other for 10 years | trentendboy
08/9/2020 21:31 | teb That is why I feel we will have a bid from one of them. | srpactive

08/9/2020 15:57 | Anyone here bought MGM shares directly?Thinking of another way to use funds not in GVC Partnership looks strong but US stocks reflect true value much betterSold PENN to early but MGM seems relatively cheap still but strong brand | trentendboy
08/9/2020 15:43 | Yes a recovery in FLTR WMH PTEC GVC over the last 2 hours, US buying, other news ? | hatfullofsky
08/9/2020 15:35 | Good market recovery from a bad startGot to have balls to stay in this marketScary times | trentendboy
08/9/2020 15:09 | Decent intra day recoveryTech wreck in US not helping sentiment but gaming companies holding up | trentendboy
08/9/2020 14:44 | To be fair, Barclays upgraded Flutter to BUY in the same note and that’s down 2.6% today so a weak day for the sector. | wilco69
08/9/2020 13:00 | srp,That would not surprise me ! | garycook
08/9/2020 12:48 | Barclays are William Hill’s house broker so they’re paid to have a positive opinion on the shares. | wilco69
08/9/2020 12:34 | c Probably get a bid coming in for gvc soon. | srpactive |
