Barclays really hasn't got a clue lolLadbroke no1 in Uk taking market share, BetMGM growing rapidly in US and market leader in NJ iGaming.

Barclays - GVC (PT 900p): d/g to EW, momentum but HMRC investigation an overhang on shares. Online momentum is excellent (+22% Q2) driven by gaming. Lad-Coral screen worst of the Big 7 betting brands in our survey (but UK only 30% of online). The unproven US JV offers upside but the HMRC investigation is likely to be an overhang. Our PT implies 8% upside, but we have a relative preference for WMH and Flutter

Last week he was saying DraftKing should buy Playtech. He also thought that 888 were the better buyers of bwin.party rather than GVC.

I believe the share price is likely to be double where it is within the next few years. We are continuing to take market share in all key territories including the US where we are making a tremendous strategic investment and have the strong MGM brand.

US markets could afford to sell off after posting truly amazing gains over the last few months. Nasdaq has just put on 2000 points in eight weeks so can well afford a 5% fall. UK indicies have been very subdued by comparison. My portfolio after getting back to where it was in February has just drifted sideways. I think UK pi's are very cautious and the short term trade to make a few percent has become very much the thing to do. Very nice to see GVC showing some strength and there is your 820 srp.

Lucky I am not a big time betting person, otherwise I would have lost my shirt on betting that the share price would be down this morning after yesterday’s big sell-off on the US markets!

Holding 800p well, just need a positive RNS to propel this back up to 900p, well that’s what I’m hoping for.

I for one find his predictions broadly accurate. He was correct today, or would have been if the market in general hadn't turned over, and he had the balls to buy when everyone else was thinking of bailing out.
