29/1/2019 08:11 | GVC Plunge continues........... | warik
28/1/2019 23:49 | I watch CNBC MONEY a lot gives you lot of info about global economy and health of the mainly US stock market. Their opinion is CHINA is slowing and trade deal between China and US can steady the market but not solve the debt issues across the whole world. | warik
28/1/2019 22:49 | Same here I'm as clueless as you if I was a genius would be charging people lol. | warik
28/1/2019 22:46 | warik i have no idea what to do. | maddog68
28/1/2019 22:25 | I'm too scared as there is no logic here for selling. Last year GVC had a nearly 40m loss last year its 550 odd this year profit. I just dont know where this will stop. Looking at the graph when this shoots up this will go up like crazy based on the summer chart. However I dont know whether this will do it for us. We have cricket WORLD CUP this year in England so should make some money may not be like football and next year Euros so some scope I hope. How much more you want to put in? I have 31k in it? Max I will do another 1000 shares! If this goes under 600 I may even pull out based on the scenario no point watching this go 500 what do you say? | warik
28/1/2019 22:21 | Hindsight is a beautiful thing. I regret my 737 its ridiculous this was 759 on 9 Jan and today 635. | warik
28/1/2019 22:20 | warik if it gets much lower could be worth going all in,and wait for the recovery ?? | maddog68
28/1/2019 22:16 | How many will look back and say i wish i had gone all in at these prices ??? i wonder | maddog68
28/1/2019 22:16 | I have checked not reliable as they dont track under 0.5% also it's only disclosed positions. The big holders sold big today probably getting ready for tomorrow's mess. Let's see what our MPs deliver tomorrow. | warik
28/1/2019 22:04 | short position not big. | maddog68
28/1/2019 20:06 | GVC short trackerhttps://short | coxsmn
28/1/2019 17:29 | Another detriment to GVC amongst gambling stock that there is no 0.5% stamp duty you can buy and sell all day while PaddyPower, William Hill if they had seen this sort of drop they would be holding tight as for with PPB for every 100 shares you lose stamp duty around £32 plus the difference. Sadly I sold at 754 bought back at 737 thinking what a deal this has screwed me 2nd time around. | warik
28/1/2019 17:21 | You are right, the market is all over the place at the moment, but my point was that the 17p reduction in e.p.s. that Graham was concerned about is not new news. It is the reason why GVC did not have to pay the £750m bill to Lads shareholders for the CVR's | popper joe
28/1/2019 17:13 | God only knows what's priced in and what's not. I think the big holders are shorting the stock expecting blood bath on Wednesday and hoping to buy back at around 600p. I dont think private investors hold 1m shares or do they? | warik
28/1/2019 17:08 | The loss from the reduction in the FOBT limit was quoted as being £100,000,000 per year. Works out at 17p per share. That is all priced in. | popper joe
28/1/2019 16:59 | @Graham I bought looking at fundamentals on Nov 8 and as of today I am down about £7400 on my £31k investment this should have been £8500 but because I sold and bought slightly cheaper to recover losses hoping that recovery on it's way. Unless you're willing to hold 5/10 years may be good but remember we may have recession in 2020/21 so this may get smashed to pieces. | warik
28/1/2019 16:37 | DJ and warik: thanks for taking the time to reply. You've got me wondering!! | grahamnash
28/1/2019 16:12 | @GrahamNash This is worlds favourite battering stock. IMHO the fundamentals are good however there is too much hate for this stock and i would avoid it for now. Wait couple of days and you may even get it cheaper. If you ask the Buffets here they may say otherwise. AVOID not a good time. | warik
28/1/2019 15:33 | @GrahamNash Revenues and Profits will down in 2019 due to last years Football World Cup and there are no major tournaments this calendar year | deej4y
28/1/2019 15:27 | Looking to make a first buy into GVC but got a bit spooked by Digital Look's projected figures for 2019: EPS down by 17p per share. PEG of -0.5 EPS Growth of -23% Is this anything to do with the takeover of Ladbrooks Coral? Been looking around for explanation(s) but no joy. Any offers much appreciated. Ta. | grahamnash
28/1/2019 15:27 | Sadly this is going down no 2 ways about it. Its world favorite battering stock. I have prepared myself for 600 now unless our MPs do something good tomorrow and Wednesday we could be up and running. TP will come down too wait n watch. | warik
28/1/2019 15:13 | I would not be surprised to see a holdings update from somebody indicating a significant position shift. There was a merger last year which left one firm holding a large amount (ie they both independently held but as a result of the merger the position would be huge) and it always struck me that once they had rationalised their strategies then it would be likely that they sold down gvc purely as a matter of diversification.Just speculation | noujay |
