Gold is the right sector to target but, as we know to our cost, their stock selection track record is poor. We can only hope that they get lucky with this one or that the rising tide in precious metals lifts all boats, even the ones that GUN is in.

These are not value creaters. There is enough small investments to keep the salaries going for maybe a year. That is provided the markets don't tank for 2024.Cash is low so either they will use equity for fodder or sell investments for expenses and salaries.

GUN has gone GUNg ho into too many small investments. There appears to be none that can be realised for cash or that are shortly likely to rise in value.
All shareholders, including me, are well and truly stuffed.

Results out for Gunsynd. As you can see from the results it seems the directors are working this as a personal portfolio.I suspect a wind down of investments and rest will be used for fees and salaries.

Interesting company but investing in mining outfits is a bad idea as most lose money and end up getting taken over for peanuts . Seems it's not working well for gun either .

Never did get round to doing an NAV calculation. Not sure I want to now. If I had taken what I invested in GUN and invested it myself in the kind of companies GUN invests in, I suspect I would have done as well if not better than GUN. And I have had some shockers. Better making my own investment mistakes than paying someone else to make them for me.
