I am hoping they have learned to avoid frustrating situations like Oyster and Fastbase. They certainly seem to be in more stuff that is actually quoted these days.

This was from the first paragraph of the Annual Report:-

"I am pleased to present the annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31 July 2021. The Company made a profit for the year to 31 July 2021 of £2,012,000 (2020: loss £991,000) after taxation. The Company had net assets of £6,303,000 (2020: £2,470,000) at 31 July 2021, and cash balances of £1,071,000 (2020: £838,000)."

Since then (31st July) they've had the partial disposal of Charger Metal and further investment in First Tin.

My calculations yesterday on mid-prices was about £5.1m for present investments and about £176K CLNs.

Anyone looking in please check the figures, I have been known to make mistakes.

Same executives. Maybe I just struggled to get over that bad oyster. My rough calculation, trying to be conservative, is a 30-35% discount to NAV (excluding cash) at my 0.787p. Does that sound right to you? Not entirely sure what the current cash balance is, but assuming it is several hundred thousand we could be looking at something more like a 40% discount to the total NAV at my 0.787p. Enough to encourage me back in. A noticeable pop in any of its bigger investments should put GUN back in play. I do remember that there was fun to be had if your timing was good and you were careful around seafood.

Well done, Arlington!

Looks like they've got their act together with the investments they've got now.

Is the management still the same?

Just bought 500K at 0.787p. This has a mix of projects that could catch the imagination of the market right now. But I have been in here before and am therefore braced for a full quota of delays and disappointments. I really like 1SN though.

A few tweets from Gunsynd this morning:

First a link to Dr Thomas Bunger of First Tin talking about the use of tin.

Interview:

Then about the copper investment:-

More about Eagle Mountain resource in Arizona:

I think a few have done calculations about Gunsynd's investments and worked out 3.6m is just too low now. So what about 12 months when these companies develop their resources.

I'd like to see an investment in a lithium company next.
EDIT: Sorry, I forgot about Charger Metals lithium interests.

Following the agreement with Oak and Still, the UK is expected to make up an increasing and significant proportion of Shinju’s revenues.

Rogue Baron expects to be able to announce further distribution deals in both Europe and the USA in Q2, 2022

All sounding very positive.

Good morning.

Yes, I thought I mentioned it to you somewhere.

A bit disappointed those early sells knocked the sparkle off the share price after that 1.2m buy yesterday.

Looks like a bit of interest coming back here.

First Tin listing next week with launch price double our initial investment.

More about asset value than PE. Last time I looked AV was at least double the share price. Just need a trigger to reduce the discount to nearer 10% than 50%. No idea what that would be.

Well worth a read..Tin prices are at record highs. Here's why they could double again.https://stockhead.com.au/resources/tin-prices-are-at-record-highs-heres-why-they-could-double-again/..A new float is also coming to market with a planned listing in London called First Tin. Thompson is a director. It has projects in Germany and Australia, including the 57,000t Taronga project in New South Wales purchased for $34 million, mostly in shares, from ASX-listed Aus Tin Mining (ASX:ANW) last year."We've got an advanced tin asset in Australia and an advanced tin asset in Germany," he said."And I think they're going to probably be the next two hard rock tin mines to come to market."And what's special about both of those is our production costs are sort of in the US$10-15,000 a tonne region as opposed to the US$30-35,000/t most new tin mines are going to require."
