Interesting TR-1. Anyone know why a spread betting company would take a 3.5 percent stake?

Gunsynd [£3 million market cap with 28% stake in Rincon]

"Rincon: Hasties, South Telfer [12km from Newcrest Telfer mine]:
Mineralisation outcrops at SURFACE and identified with OVER 1KM STRIKE which occurs within brecciated sedimentary rocks. Mineralisation remains OPEN IN ALL DIRECTIONS & only a small proportion of strike length tested. Within SAME sedimentary sequence known to host gold mineralisation at Telfer."

[Drilling results of 200 holes by Newcrest, please refer to my earlier post.]

"Rincon: WESTINS, South West of Havieron: 5 K M long of GOLD IN BEDROCK - 8m @3.85g/t au gold from 84m [2 5 K M of prospective strike NOT explored.]"

Newcrest drilling of Telfer South,Pateron,WA [now owned by Rincon with Gun having 28% stake]
drilling results appear BETTER [grades?] THAN their drilling results at HAVIERON, Paterson, W.A.? Refer to my post above for Rincorn Newcrest results.

From Greatland Gold*s RNS: "Acquisition of Havieron Gold Project."-26 Sep2016.

Quote:
"During the period 1991-2003, Newcrest completed 6 DIAMOND DRILL HOLES AT HAVIERON.
All holes intersected significant alteration and 3 HOLES intersected significant au-cu skarn style mineralisation.

Hole HAC9101 intersected 103m at 0.44 g/t au gold including 30.6m @1g/t au/0.28%cu with a peak value of 14.7 g/t au.

Hole HAC9201 intersected 82.3m @ 0.4g/t au gold including 28m @1g/t gold/0.22% cu.

MINERALISATION STARTS AT 400 METRES BELOW SURFACE."

Gunsynd plc {28% stake in Rincon}
South Telfer {Hasties, 12km from Newcrest Telfer mine & Westin, SW of GGP*s Havieron]

Given that the South Telfer deposit [Rincon] is "TO SURFACE" [see my above post}, it would appear that the drilling results by Newcrest as above at Telfer South [now owned by Rincon] appear to be BETTER THAN GGP*S BLACKHILL RESULTS:

"Greatland*s 2nd drill campaign at Blackhills 2019-
Focused on Saddlers Reef prospect, 20 holes, depths ranging from 154m to 500m.

Best 4 metre composite results include:
35m @0.53g/t gold and 0.21% cu copper from 104m {inc 4m@1.65g/t from 104m.

36m @0.36g/t au from surface.
12m @0.57g/t au gold from 32m.
56m @0.56g/t au gold from 68m inc 4m @2.52g/t from 76m."

Gun owns 28% OF Rincon: South Telfer: "12KM south of Newcrest*s Telfer mine with SIGNIFICANT drilled mineralisation to SURFACE."

"Newcrest drilled over 200 holes for 22,000 metres. Extensive HIGH GRADE gold & copper including:

Gold intercepts: 58.8m @2.05g/t gold from 17.4m
including 16.10m @4.75 g/t gold from 42.7m
68m @1.33g/t gold from 1 metre.
36m @1.66g/t gold from 2 metres.
33.2m @1.46g/t gold from 25 metres.
23m @2.06g/t gold from 23 metres &
5m @3.73 g/t gold from 50 metres.

Copper intercepts:
20.6m @1.23% cu copper from 87.6m
10.9m @3.39% cu copper from 91.8m &
4m @4.84% cu copper from 49m.

Neither of these projects were followed up, with Newcrest dropping its tenements holdings in 2002 as it closed its Telfer pit operations and focussed on an underground feasibility."

"..Newcrest identified Outcropping mineralisation at the HASTIES prospect & LARGE GOLD ANOMALIES at WESTIN." {South Telfer-Rincon}

Link: [RNS/Ann, 19.7.19]

P.S. Westin is SW of GGP*s Havieron, Paterson, W.Australia.
Hasties is 12km South of Telfer mine {Newcrest].
Both Havieron & Telfer South {Hasties/Westin} were drilled roughly the same time?

We only know they are working on it and expect this year. The management are strong so expect them to work pretty fast and diligently

They IPO’d TSO in Feb also if that gives an indication of driving value;

Any views on actual timing of the IPO and value accretion possible to GUN?

POG and miners doing well should IMO help with valuations....

"I wish I was still involved."

I bet you do!

Bigger production and more wells replicating the stellar success of the "Gatwick Gusher" will have the supermajors lining up at the door. No wonder the Russkies are shaking in their boots.

I don't have anything to do with UKOG any more and have not for a number of years now, and have left the running of this to Steve S and his crew. I am merely a shareholder now. It would move ahead quicker to bigger production and more wells if the local councils were a lot more helpful. I wish I was still involved.

GUN only market capped at ~£3m. They got lots of money in the bank and are the biggest shareholder in Rincon. So not a lot of downside IMHO. But hey! Let's see. Rincon listing on ASX should do very very well.
