07/6/2019 19:31 | You do need to be careful here for this is a 'gun to the head' type situation for the Oyster ordinary shareholders.. Others can step in at the last minute to help with their financials to protect the prize asset. There is also the TSX who may act to protect Oyster's ordinary shareholders. So even a vote in favour may not grant GUN the assets in lieu of the debt. | mreyeguy
07/6/2019 19:29 | Any up date form the AGM? Any Canadian's out there? | whattheduce
07/6/2019 18:43 | Thanks for those 2 document rossannan, really interesting details on page 9 of document 2 regarding Oyster BVI!! I don't think the TSX will issue any news about the shareholders meeting as their shares are halted, so perhaps a unhalting on Mon around 2pm (TSX opening) or GUN may we'll issue an out of hours or 7am RNS? | gbenson1
07/6/2019 17:41 | Market cap still just under £2.5m :-) "This time next MONDAY Rodney..." | seagullsslimjim
07/6/2019 17:22 | Oh damn! The stocks guru has sold! We should all listen to him and sell too | multibagger123
07/6/2019 17:00 | A negative vote would weigh on the share price of course but keep in mind underlying assets + cash are 2.2M. If someone steps in with finance then GUN get the CLN paid out plus interest and also the 5% they have in Oyster listed entity becomes of value. Anyway it doesn't really matter now so have a good weekend, I am off to get hammered in the sun :) | scotty666

07/6/2019 16:45 | Pessimism is the default position to start from with all of these micro-cap stocks. You work your way up from there. | pwhite73
07/6/2019 16:33 | Pessimists of the world unite! Us long term holders deserve a break on this one, so lets have some positive outcome from this, not the bashing or deramping. Life is tough enough as it is. | bobby.ifa

07/6/2019 15:44 | Correct me if I'm being naive, we might possibly receive 30% of a company currently valued 1.3m Canadian dollars, this is subject to shareholders voting later today and subject to the Toronto exchange giving it their blessing. It's muted that Lobster has a potential project worth 1 billion CAD. Who in their right mind would agree to use it as collateral for a company with sooo much potential?? | gbenson1

07/6/2019 15:28 | Oyster Confirms Good Quality Oil Source Rock in Madagascar VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / December 12, 2017 / Oyster Oil and Gas Ltd. ("Oyster" or the "Company") (TSX-V: OY, FSE: 13L) commissioned an independent geochemistry study by UK-based GH Geochem Ltd. of core samples recovered from a well drilled as part of the 4 well coring campaign carried out in Block 1101 in Q3/Q4 2014. The cores were recovered from a well drilled at Ankaramy, which is adjacent to some very large, highly prospective anticlinal structures located on the Ampasindava Peninsula, in the southwest of Block 1101. In summary, the biomarker evaluation of the migrated oil not only confirms the presence of migrated petroleum but also shows that the oil is from a peak mature, clay-rich source rock deposited in a marine nearshore environment, probably migrated from more deeply buried Jurassic or perhaps older source rocks. Dr. Phil Roach, Oyster's Head of Exploration, commented, "It has taken three years for Oyster to get access to these well cores and undertake this important piece of geochemical analysis work done, which confirms that there is a viable working petroleum system in this part of Madagascar." | phil1969
07/6/2019 15:27 | Positive outcome from tonights meeting mostly priced in with a few hanging back just in case vote doesn't go GUNs way. GUN has momentum and they will be using the high profile this weeks publicity has brought to report on other investment to further push the stock forward. GUN has all but got backers in place to take on the financial burden of exploration on the Oyster assets and this news/speculation will drive the MCAP past the £5m mark. (0.1p, currently 0.05p) This is a billion dollar asset and GUN are set to get 30% of in lieu of a CAD$1,5m loan. Exploration work has started............ VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / January 9, 2018 / Oyster Oil and Gas Ltd. ("Oyster" or the "Company") (TSX-V: OY; FRA: 13L) is preparing for an onshore seismic campaign in Djibouti. Invitations to tender have been issued and an independent environmental impact assessment report has been commissioned. Oyster Oil has identified a large unexplored sedimentary basin located in Block 1, onshore Djibouti. The basin is located close to the coast and is also quite near to the capital, Djibouti City, and thus, to the excellent infrastructural capacity of the port, road, rail, and air networks of Djibouti, one of East Africa's major international transportation hubs. Oyster Oil holds 100% equity in both onshore and offshore blocks in Djibouti. Oyster Oil will also be seeking to acquire an offshore 2D seismic survey subject to identifying with a suitably qualified contractor. Dr. Phil Roach, Oyster's Head of Exploration, commented, "We are tendering for a 2D seismic survey of up to approximately 200 line kilometres over the mapped Mesozoic sedimentary basin (Jurassic and Cretaceous) in Block 1. Oyster Oil has conducted extensive field studies and various surveys over the last few years and believes that Djibouti has the potential to mirror the highly prolific hydrocarbon reserves/production potential that exists across the narrow Red Sea/Gulf of Aden Rift in Yemen." | phil1969 |
