Where can we find a decent goalkeeper that will not just let the ball into the net with no one near him direct from a long range free kick.

WE LOST BECAUSE OF SEAMAN.

Seaman marches on out of the goal while the ball goes into the net - England out.

Nice to see another red on the boards. Bit of a bummer coming above United and still not winning it but there's time yet!

morning all....fred 'player of the year' who voted that one? myself, had mortgage on phil(ex flying bros. neville) down for it! abix, re japan, lots of twist in the story! have been over, and am in negotiations with FIFA and Japan-Korean FA's,regarding the shape of the benches used out there. they're only 2 foot high, and 4 foot long(something to do with size/build of jonny foreigner?)this is supposed to allow full subs quota, physio, and manager! they also curve up at the ends, with what can only be discribed as 'onion' shaped domes? now,not one to cause a fuss, but when i tested one in april,i found my knees were at my chin, and the rest of the subs slid into the middle.this is NOT the posture to be in,prior to hurtling around a footie pitch! also, local FIFA officials have a strange bylaw? that says..' on approaching the bench, players must respectfully remove boots' now, this is silly,as every time Sven tells me to 'get warmed up stu' i have to get the knot out of my back, and put me boots on! this is bad for players conditioning, and have submitted report. Have had fax sent to B&Q asking to fly over new summer offer benches(delined the parasol) but they refused, saying recent events, regarding court settlement was ..'not in their best interests.... stu.

stu I want freddie to excel against Eng-er-land and score a couple of goals but England will win with sol scoring the winning goal to make up for an own goal scored by scholls he really should stick to making slipers.
If England do go out then I will be supporting France, now theres a surprise.

Me can't see England lasting the pace of playing twice a week. Injuries mean that the good reserves are already going to be in the team, so a few more injuries will mean the team will not be good enough eg. does anyone seriously think that Owen can play two world cup games a week without breaking something? Not to mention all those carrying niggles at present.

Pizza's right. The CS doesn't really matter but if you're not in it you know you're off the pace. Pity about Becks but he may be OK yet. Gerrard is the big sickener, Dyer's not done that much for me.
Stu
Will you be on the bench in Japan? If so, can you keep up your reports during June. I can't make out if you think we'll do well or not. What do you think?

yes and in the meantime what will viera and co be doing as well as henry and "WE LOVE YOU FREDDIE ". I think Wenger will send the kids out against the pool let them get a false sense of achievement.
abix cheroo has potential, VVIIERRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAA is potential realised.
sad to see Gerard not going to world cup along with dyer. Dont fancy our chances much with a weakened becks as well.
