Compared to the deflation of many shares that were "hot" in Epril-July I prefer
this stage of recovery. The RNS is good & all we need is full fleet utilisation...

EVs & all things green squeezed investment in O&G which, now we see the result,
is going to be firmly reversed IMO. There's nowt to be done in the rise in O&G.
& it will filter tru' to the likes of us. Just needs patience, so LTBH
on a small punt-size position for me...

This is going to be just like the dry bulker / container market, became tight , full fleet utilisation and then rates explode, we could see huge rises in day rates as drillers flush with cash from high o+g prices get back to work, all the stars are aligning market cap is crazy low given what could well happen

My comment was purely based on the link provided which included a statement that :-

"Recent events have placed further downward pressure on valuations in the sector that started back in 2014/2015. Mr Day says several distressed sales at the latter part of 2020 and the start of 2021 illustrate the challenges liftboat owners face."

In a brighter vein,the author nevertheless concluded,"prospects could be buoyed thanks to offshore wind."
