Pt, strange how the Capri's first journey was missed, and stranger to me is that the news from yesterday that the oil would/might be flowing next week has not made an impact on the share price. Que será, será. |
Habshan was probably right . They are flushing the pipeline and the junk has to go somewhere. Probably explains the shipping movements. |
Probably from this dated 4th February. https://www.spglobal.com/commodity-insights/en/news-research/latest-news/crude-oil/020425-iraq-moves-to-revive-kurdish-oil-exports-but-challenges-remain However, Ghani said talks are underway with the Turkish government to prepare the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline. Turkey's state energy company Botas said in its monthly energy flow data Feb. 3 that 29,000 barrels were transported via the pipeline. The Turkish ministry did not explain how or why oil was flowing but confirmed it happened and said, "A delegation [from the ministry] was in Baghdad last week, and we are working on reopening the oil line."When Commodity Insights asked the Turkish ministry if the crude in the pipeline was fed in from Turkey's Gabar field, a spokesperson said that an announcement regarding any developments would be made soon. |
I read on an X feed that the poster believes that a test was run on the 4th of Feb. If true then that explains the movements of Port Capri (which is back on our terminal). |
CG Worth repeating as in H7
It`s not just the oil flowing but a signal that other issues have been sorted to the satisfaction of APIKUR who will then allow the taps to be turned on again. We`ll see.
