Has anyone got any idea why only 125,000 shares are being bought on a daily basis?The dividend declaration had a more positive impact on the share price, so maybe dividends instead of buybacks is the way forward?

To keep to the cumulative target whatever they buy today needs probably to have a vwap of 1.385-1.39

It does, but a key factor has changed as you noted a few weeks ago. Iran has a new prime minister who wants better relationships with the "west" I.e the USA.

This will become even more important to Iran, now that they realise Donald Trump will be back and not this useless/spineless Biden. They remember what happened the last time !
