Day 206, pipeline pumping high quality oil and sludge is it?

“The Ministry of Oil and SOMO said that the Kurdistan Region is committed to delivering 80,000 barrels of oil according to our demand, so from now on, 400,000 barrels of oil will be used domestically".

You need to get better tuggers on tanker watch as the current gang are useless:-)

£1.50 if the pipe ever opens.

Now we know why they are buying GKP shares.

Blackrock...

It is tempting to portray the energy transition as linear: the world will move progressively away from fossil fuels, adopting clean energy such as wind, solar or hydrogen. The reality is more nuanced, likely to be stop-start, and with considerable debate among policymakers on the right course of action.

The most recent IEA report onto investment in energy markets exposes this complexity. Overall, it shows that the whole pot is growing. Energy consumption has grown from 122,857TWh in 2000 to 178,899TWh in 2022, a rise of 46%.1 While growth is slowing, the world continues to need more energy year on year. Alongside investing for the energy transition, companies and governments also need to invest in expanding supply. Against this backdrop, the IEA estimates that investment in energy will be around USD2.8 trillion in 2023.

While it might be assumed that most of this new investment would be directed towards renewable energy infrastructure, the reality is far more complex. While there has undoubtedly been significant investment into renewable energy creation and infrastructure, driven by initiatives such as the Inflation Reduction Act in the US and Fit for 55 in the EU, it is not grabbing as high a share of energy investment as much be expected.

The report showed investment of USD 1,740bn in clean energy, a rise of USD 123bn on the previous year.2 However, it also showed a significant rise in investment in fossil fuel investment – USD 1,050bn from USD 1,002bn the previous year.

Here is a graph showing the market share price daily since 14 September when the first short was opened .

As we can all see more shorts added over the period, super imposed on graph from LSE date data , the share price continues to rise higher.

Shorts started to be added at day of recent lows around 85 p, few more added over the month to date.

As the amount of stock short has increased so has the share price

Its a method too inhibit the market price to allow hedges clients to build cheap toeholds pre takeover battle,

This link shows the graph of the S P rise with the short additions super imposed.

Here is the evidence of a takeover battle before your very eyes!

Warning; Incoming gullible fantasist.
It is becoming clear that whilst the pipeline is ready for lubrication, the reopening will not happen until the Iraqis and Turks settle their financial grievances. We simply do not know when, how, or if this will happen. In the meantime the share price will continue to bounce on rumour and counter rumour.
When SOMO eventually calls APIKUR to the “take it or leave it table” Caggins will know he can’t play hard ball with them. Best if he adopts the role of an obsequious Uriah Heep until he’s in a stronger position.
The Iraqis have played their cards very well so far and they react badly to ultimatums, as that bonehead Barzani found out with his ill fated independence election.
Let’s get things moving.
