"We expect to announce the results of the CPR in Q1 2023"

Not long to wait and if generous will make a low ball offer more difficult to accept especially as such an offer would attract counterbids from others. Meanwhile the discussions in Erbil/Baghdad will go on and who knows the parties may even reach an agreement.

473 , quite Eddies 9.75% is just that of the known volume, after careful consideration, I estimate that the CPR just took into account 4.25 % of Shaikan's Vol. just so much more to come here, will they use the Chinese studies FP Fig of 3.8% I wonder in CPR 3?

RTK Was that directed at me? If so please explain as I was only trying to alert shareholders to the fact that an amalgamation does not of itself ensure that we receive the full value of the assets we own, the details of which will be seen in the CPR valuation.

When sale announced,(sale by amalgamation) the company has to issue an independent assessment of the price paid, being fair value, that is dictated largely by the CPR,and #GKP net entitlement reserves,of oil, gas, and condensate. That IMO is why they have now commissioned a brand new one...after so many years relying on the previous...

The assessment may be independent BUT

Bye Law 165 of Bermudann Takeover Rules state that an amalgamation requires the BOD to agree together with a majority of shareholders at a special meeting even if those attending are as low as two. A massive objection by the bulk shareholders might halt the process and to be fair it doesn`t seem likely that our BOD would try to push through an amalgamation on poor terms for most shareholders although I have been party to such low offers in the past where the BOD did very well.

PS Takeover rules are different from those governing an amalgamation as are the rules for other forms of uniting two companies.

Might make the KRG even more hungry of course. That`s a known unknown.

But on the other hand it should make predators more hungry too.

The CPR only referred to 25% of the area and 39% of the depth. I make that 9.75% of volume of the field.

My understanding is that the original CPR was for listing purposes and only addressed 10-25% of the field. Happy to be corrected.

Bigdog - "Anything other than a downgrade to any CPR won't be seen a creditable."

Now then Sarah.

So in your opinion the company are going to demonstrate their "confidence in the Shaikan Field’s significant production growth potential" by issuing an updated CPR which shows a downgrade in reserves and resources.

Maybe you would care to explain your logic there Sarah because I can't see it.

I think maybe you're the one will the credibility problem not the company.

RNS - "We remain confident in the Shaikan Field’s significant production growth potential. We are preparing a Competent Person’s Report (“CPR”) as at 31 December 2022, which will provide an updated independent third-party evaluation of Shaikan’s reserves and resources. We expect to announce the results of the CPR in Q1 2023."

No one is interested in the field as everyone except you suckers can see its got massive extremely costly problems.

Anything other than a downgrade to any CPR won't be seen a creditable. Many companies, those that haven't gone bust in Koruptistan, have been forced to downgrade their initial reserves and resource numbers as their new wells have proved the numbers were way over exaggerated.

The hosts have revised their numbers down from 42 billion barrels to way less than 3 billion. Eminent experts have posted similar numbers. Their articles are available should you be inclined to search for them. But you won't as that would prove your fantasies wrong and really fekk up your ramping innit:-)

SP down from £4.60 to 2p explains so much suckers.

2nd Jan - "Buy some shares Sarah, you know it makes sense."

A month ago today Sarah I suggested that it would make sense for you to buy some shares.

I just wondered if you'd taken my advice because four weeks tomorrow yet another six figure dividend will land in my account because over the years I've taken my own advice instead of yours.

Or will you miss out again and get nothing.

Bigdog, I know you feel bad about missing out on years worth of huge dividends, but trolling on here isn't the answer.
