31/8/2022 15:50 | Kurdistan to lose half its oil production to around 240k within five years. By far the worst crises for almost 20 years. Kurdistan won't be a destination for investment. Kurdistan's often quoted proved up oil Reserves have been revised downwards from 45 billion to way less than 3 billion!!! No one has made a decent discovery in decades and the majors and service companies have departed notwithstanding the hosts spinning a different story. Which of course means that you fantasists that still believe in Kozel's BS barrels and irrelevant data have been served up the absolute proof. See CPR's for the numbers and even the latest one needs a massive downgrade due to all the water that's been found where they were convinced there was oil. Even a spokesperson from the hosts has pointed to several fields having major water problems. All due to the fractures that you morons only thought oil would get to, lol. Oil and service companies departing for fear of being blacklisted by Baghdad for contracts in Iraq. Uncertainties escalating due to Erbil and Baghdad unable to resolve an oil law after 15 years of regular meetings. Will there be the usual hype, spin and excuses about the unachievable plans and failures due tomorrow be sufficient to keep the trough filled to spill for those with vested interests and you suckers? Of course:-) | bigdog5

31/8/2022 13:06 | "The energy-rich region exported 446,000 barrels of oil on a daily basis last month. Britain’s purchases of Kurdish oil exceeded five million barrels." 446kbpd for 31 days is 13.8 million barrels and the UK is buying 40% of it. Well there you go Sarah, you're running your car on petrol refined from Shaikan crude, and paying 190p a litre for the privilege. And in so doing you're contributing to the huge dividends that the rest of us are getting. So thanks a lot, well done you. Much appreciated. | habshan

31/8/2022 12:06 | Europe does indeed need Kurdish oil, and is getting it: hxxps://www.farsnews "According to the Iraqi Arabic-language Al-Maalomah news agency, the energy-rich region exported 446,000 barrels of oil on a daily basis last month. Britain’s purchases of Kurdish oil exceeded five million barrels while Croatian imports went beyond 2.8 million barrels. Moreover, Turkey and Israel each imported over 1.7 barrels of crude from the Kurdistan region during the month of June. Italy, France and Greece are reportedly big buyers of Kurdish crude, using pre-pay deals brokered by large oil trading companies, the FT reported." | nufc9
31/8/2022 11:22 | IMO we have reached a "gate" in this power struggle between the ICG and the KRG. Something has to give. Particularly since the ICG was provisionally promised multi $billion in aid by Trump. A pretty strong hand given to Biden. Lets hope he doesnt screw it up as he has done with everything he has touched so far. But then we have the US Republicans going to take back control of both houses in November. I can wait if necessary. H7 | highlander7
31/8/2022 11:16 | Indeed Highlander, good point. | habshan |
