The current share price is 202p which values the company at £432 million.

One week ago today you said this:-

Its amusing reading all the different excuses that get posted over the years.

Haven't you clueless idiots used lack of payments? Better to keep the oil in the ground as its adds more value to a takeout? The MNR have prevented us? We can't because the new owners want the oil left in the ground? Its being kept secret by the MNR?

I'll help you out ex in the Industry McMitty. The dividends (and buybacks) will have been "suggested" to the company by the Insti's due to lack of progress and the share price since the Restructure to keep them invested. There is another dividend due in order to "disguise" more failures at S12, S13 and S14, falling production, nowhere close to the much hyped 55k a day and that the Reserves will have to be decreased again.

Several months ago I said that the new CEO had put the company in the shop window when he "hyped" up their plans. However, since that time there's been no interest but its clear there have been many more failures.

Also a few months ago I posted what I believed any sale/merger price would come in at. Including a premium it was around the current share price The company will of course point to the dividends already paid as a way of enhancing the final value whenever it comes. That's of course if the hosts don't do what they've done with a licence of Genel's.
