As far as I can see, it ain't broke yet, h7. So no need to fix it. The earth has been through these cooling and heating cycles for millennia (most probably caused by sun activity) and it has a self-correcting mechanism. The lefty loonies have succeeded at something for once - panicking the sheep. The uber-rich have seen another bandwagon they can make money from and jumped on it. Either sense will prevail or the next 3 or 4 generations are going to be busy undoing all the damage now in the planning stage.

You won't be around, h7, but, in any case, the wood police will have been and you'll have had a fossil fuel extraction. You'll then be re-educated on how to live in hair shirts and sandals and the finer culinary points of muesli and okra. Oh what a jolly future lies ahead.

swift drop to hit stops and straight back up.

News close then.

"they are getting short of Oil."

and they'll get shorter as Explo reigned back by big oil.

GKP are very well placed as global reserves SHRINK.

Correct, NOR. It will a lighbulb moment for the freezing survivors desperately scratching to find carbon products to burn as the earth cools and they dream of the temperate existence their forebears threw away.

Science is settled , they know it is the Sun that causes C02 levels , it follows the Suns tempo around like a dog only lags 700 years behind . The last decade the Earth has been cooling but C02 will continue to rise as the ice cores have shown many times.

Boris is well dodgy .

A friendly sale could prompt a hostile bid and vice versa. And the key will be how many shares the parties have , an how many irrevocable voting agreements are in their grip.50% + secures any dealEither way the pressure to acquire as many as possible , without spiking the price quickly higher , and sucking in retail ( we stupid , we buy when things are going UP... LOL) means the book is always pressured

It never did look certain and BOJO is being brainwashed by his woke socialist wife. There is plenty of research out there disputing what the media are telling us currently. Bottom line is that - we dont know for certain. But one thing I do know. The O&G Industry is with us for a few decades yet and they are getting short of Oil.

"G20 leaders have committed to reaching net zero "by or around mid-century" ahead of the COP26 climate conference."

So gullible , naive politicans who believed everything they were told by extremists. Have finally woken up to the media hype and scaremongering and the political reality of what they proposed.

No doubt by the time we get to anywhere near 2050 they will also realise how they have been conned by vested interests and deliberately "worse case scenario" mathematical models. Because thats all a Climate Change future temperature rise is - a hypothetical number produced by a computer model. It is NOT real, purely and simply because our planets circulatory systems are extremely complex and not fully understood.

These are the same "vested interests" incidentally who are funding little Greta , feeding nonsense to the media, and who would have made £billions selling " not fit for purpose" heat pumps to gullible voters who believe politicians.

Sound familiar ? It should , after listening to all the "doom mongering" on here.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – His party having secured the highest number of seats in the latest Iraqi parliamentary election, mercurial Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr on Sunday called for the formation of what he called a "national majority" government.

He also asserted that he is not "ruling out" becoming opposition in the legislature.

"It is not that I have a disagreement with the political blocs except for the issue of internal and external reform, and the issue of the difference between patriotism and subordination," Sadr said in a statement.

"I believe that the first thing that should be done in the future for the homeland is a national majority government," He added. Sadr's political alliance won the largest number of parliamentary seats in the national election, held on Oct. 10, 2021.

The self-styled populist cleric outlined that the legislature should have a "loyalist side," which would form government and take on reforming Iraq's institutions, and an "opposition side," which would serve a consultative role and it must not be "marginalized."

"We do not mind being on either side. Both of them would serve the country."

The statement came days after Sadr said on Friday that he would shutter various local headquarters of the militia he commands across the embattled nation with the exception of four in which he holds considerable influence.

SH 13 is not an issue, NOR. If it had failed or was materially below expectations they would have had to rns it. They haven't so goatcam has gone native. You're right about the invisible hand holding the share price though. Whoever has bought GKP is acquiring as many at this level as they can to reduce the overall net price they will be paying. As %$&)"* says, you'd be daft to sell one.

The first clear evidence of the huge improvement in free cash flow and earnings now being generated by the oil sector following the exceptionally strong recovery in O&G pricing this year was seen late on Friday.

Chevron reported their biggest quarterly profit since 2013 and highest free cash flow on record..booking earnings of $6.1 billion for the third quarter of 2021, compared with a loss of $207 million for Q3 last year. Adjusted earnings jumped to $5.7 billion, or $2.96 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2021, up from adjusted earnings of $340 million, or $0.18 per share, for Q3 2020.

Exxon quickly followed Chevron's lead reporting a massive improvement in Q3 earnings to $6.8 billion, or $1.57 per share, compared to a loss of $680 million, or a $0.15 per-share loss, for the same quarter of 2020.
