Hello Kman,
just re-reading the RNS of 23rd Nov-20 (completion of SH-12 workover) it was stated that the workover involved moving the producing level higher - from the Lower Butmah up into the SAM. No fitting of ESP was necessary as the well had already been fitted with one.

The same might be happening with SH-13 - had to get away from the original TD (water?) moved up hole to the SAM, perforated but no flow (tight rock area, minimal fractures?) maybe even due to hitting a tar mat?

The RNS wording should be interesting.

We keep telling you morons the data from years ago is now completely worthless and irrelevant. By all accounts it has failed. You can miss at shaiCON which has shrunk massively. Huge ramifications that will affect the Reserves and of course the 6 years wait for the fabled 55k a day. I did say that the Jurassic had issues and was nowhere as good as you desperately hope it is. One asset and one zone and even that's now failing.

What will they do with S14 now?

In 640148 I posted a pic of a 2011 DGA fracture study , that is 10 years ago FFS. The idea of GKP drilling SH13 in anywhere other than a sweet spot is F-ing looney tunes. It's Shaikan you can't miss anyway but some spots are better than the base line of of world class.

Totally clueless. No one fits ESD's to a well that is producing Little or no Oil just as no one fits ESD's for well testing - ever ( as I explained to you this morning )and no one fits ESD's unless it it is going to provide some benefit i.e . increase production. Which means the well has to be commercial in the first instance.

I'm afraid none of that helps Tony.

The ESP is part of the completion, and the completion will not be done until after the testing has shown that the well will flow commercially.

And if the well has shown little or no flow to date then why did Jon Harris say only a week ago that the completion of Sh-13 represented good progress on the way to 55kbpd.

And why only a week ago did Stuart Catterall say "Following the restart, SH-13 was completed AS PLANNED".

So you say that "little to no oil has flowed todate." and the Directors say the "well was completed as planned" and it "represents good progress towards 55kbpd".

It's a mystery isn't it Tony.
