"So it'a clear SH12 produced for nearly a year in the lower reservoir and flow rates were ~4k".

Digby, your assumptions are incorrect. It didn't.

Like all the others you assume far too much.

Thats whats so funny. Big oil running scared from a bunch of woke lefties like little schoolgirl Greta and her scaremongering rubbish about climate change .
Especially since global average temperatures have been falling over the past 20 years.

Wait till profits drop so much they cant afford to pay dividends and large shareholders and pension funds dump the shares. LOL

The difference this time is,imo, the FDP is in sight which could release the T/O genie out of the bottle.Based on the value of booked reserves from only a fraction of Shaikan,GKP are multiples undervalued,no doubt. With Big Oil cutting back Explo, already discovered reserves could soar in value with such as China taking out strategic resources and laughing at the global climate change zealots, as they rely on Wind Farms etc., as demand for Oil will far outstrip supply for many years to come.Having said all that, the KRG will want to monetize their Oil at Shaikan quicker than GKP can handle so logically they would want a big hitter to take the reigns in the not too distant future.
Are we there yet?Maybe we are close.

GKP has never followed technical signals much I'm told.I'm rather surprised it hasn't been pulled back today, as almost always any spike, has MM attempt to quickly dispel any PI enthusiasm. Understable I suppose, as big investment bankers have been stake building for years here pre the rather obvious takeover.I suppose the nearer a friendly deal announced, or hostile bid becomes, eventually they won't be able too.

Digby,

When I said look at old RNS's I'm talking about from around 2015 to current date. Compare what I and Mr BigDog have been saying and how we have been more accurate than the company news releases.

At no point am I or others going to give you information for blog triangulation or feel the need to prove myself to anyone on a blog.

You think it's weird or you've been blog brainwashed into thinking it's weird ???

The fact is and I'm sick of telling people this but information is freely available but not to private investors. I post to educate people of this fact and hopefully help them manage their risk profile.

People attack or call us names or try to intimidate in an attempt to get us to defend ourselves by providing information.

I'm somewhat passed all that after 10 years.

Let me be very clear to you on one point though, I speak to people both here and in Kurdistan on a weekly basis and the exact information you ask is sat on my desk and that's where it's going to stay.

This is a remarkably cash generative business.Of that their is no doubt.TechnicallyI am thinking of buying some, at around 198 I know that sounds bonkers with the share price trailing that right now but technically a breach of 197 , implies a clear momentum shift, that makes 260+ a 4-6 week target , with very high probability.

Makes one wonder just how much longer this ever increasing GKP PI recapitalisation will be allowed to continue into the future.

09/2016:- 20 for 9 offer @ 83.14p
07/2019:- H1 Dividend 5.68p
10/2019:- Special Dividend 11.612860p
10/2019:- GKP $25M Share Buyback
03/2020:- GKP $25M Share Buyback
07/2021:- H1 Dividend 8.373p
08/2021:- Special Dividend 8.377p
10/2021:- Interim Dividend 16.75p
??/2021:- GKP 10 percent Share Buyback

Combined with the following paragraph in GKPs Half Year Results RNS on 2nd September 2021:-

With continuing strong oil prices and cash flow generation, there may be opportunities to consider further distributions to shareholders and to optimise the capital structure

Jon Harris is playing a blinder & IMHO it is long overdue for loyal PIs ;-)

Iraq closes major deal with Total to develop oil, gas, and energy projects
The deal includes projects to build a storage facility for gas in an oil field that would otherwise be flared, a water treatment plant, and a solar power plant. author_image Mustafa Shilani

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Iraqi government announced on Sunday it had signed four contracts with the French company Total to develop oil, gas, and energy projects in the country.

A statement from the government valued the cost of the projects at $27 billion and asserted there would be a profit margin of $95 billion.

The government said that the first project includes developing the Artawi oil field, along with providing cutting-edge technology on site, training for local staff, and more job opportunities for Iraqis.

Production at the Artawi field would average around 85,000 barrels per day and reach a peak of 210,000, the statement added.

The second project, it said, includes constructing a gas storage facility with a capacity of 600 million standard square feet to salvage the otherwise flared gas that can be used as fuel at power stations across the country.

This would reduce Iraq's reliance on gas imports from neighboring countries, particularly Iran, to power its electric grid.

The second project is a facility dedicated to producing liquefied petroleum gas, estimated at 3000 tons per day for the local market.

The third project is a water treatment plant with a design capacity of 7.5 million barrels of water per day and a pipeline network.

The fourth project includes constructing a solar power plant to produce electricity at less than 45 percent of the cost of energy production from current power stations. The production capacity is expected to be around 1,000 megawatts.
