05/9/2021 13:05 | Makes one wonder just how much longer this ever increasing GKP PI recapitalisation will be allowed to continue into the future. 09/2016:- 20 for 9 offer @ 83.14p 07/2019:- H1 Dividend 5.68p 10/2019:- Special Dividend 11.612860p 10/2019:- GKP $25M Share Buyback 03/2020:- GKP $25M Share Buyback 07/2021:- H1 Dividend 8.373p 08/2021:- Special Dividend 8.377p 10/2021:- Interim Dividend 16.75p ??/2021:- GKP 10 percent Share Buyback Combined with the following paragraph in GKPs Half Year Results RNS on 2nd September 2021:- With continuing strong oil prices and cash flow generation, there may be opportunities to consider further distributions to shareholders and to optimise the capital structure Jon Harris is playing a blinder & IMHO it is long overdue for loyal PIs. 05/9/2021 07:41 | What people don't seem to understand is that the Co is entirely capable of doing the expansion in cash terms, as the bond market would finance it NOW.It borrowed 575m bucks with fresh air revenues.... Lol.It never has however. It is the most deleveraged E AND P LISTED (meaning it should and could borrow stacks more cash to fund organic growth )Its 55k project is over. The new owners will finance the next FDP.Their man Jaap has been developing that plan for them.Imo.Q4 its over. | ian_hannam

04/9/2021 16:53 | $100m dividend a year ++LOLOLOLOL. If they had any intention of staying independent operator to 110k and beyond they would use this huge FCF to fund a bond issue instead ....that would raise all the cash they would need to grow. Debt investors would be falling over themselves to finance a company with such a strong covenant. But they paying it OUT instead!!!!! TAKEOVER friendly or otherwise now INEVITABLE . Hostile competition looking far more LIKELY than previous.. FDP submission coming this Q4 will have new OPERATORS NAME on it. | sinopec_gkp_new_owners
