"SH6 lol. The well was so good for the directors bonuses that they haven't planned another well anywhere near it since. Production at SH5"

You're not very good at this are you Tony.

The reason they drill exploration wells at the flanks of the field to find the water is so that they don't put the production wells anywhere near them.

Idiot.

Nobull 😃

The company can only release information when the MNR allows them to.

I don't know if you were around when they drilled SA2 and the reporting on that ???

They didn't want to release the results so they just kept saying they were still testing for almost a year lol.

Nothing has changed !

Broadford - "An internal technical judgement, an opinion."

From the man who drilled the hole:-

"When drilling mud, which is used to cool the drill bit and control pressure in the well, leaks into the rock formation sometimes there are 100 per cent losses where you can't get any of the drilling mud back up again Richard Lowe explains."

"It is extremely challenging" said Lowe, "but the rewards are quite good we find one billion barrels here, one billion barrels there. Shaikan's well no. 6, for example, was initially drilled at the far end of the field to test the "spill point of the structure" where the hydrocarbons reserve ends and water was expected, but when the drill got more than 3 kilometers deep, it actually found more oil."

From Adnan Samarrai:-

"Shaikan-6 was a very, very good well for us," said country manager Adnan Samarrai, "it is very promising."

Morning friends and Bigdog.

GKP is a company on the watchlist of every oil major. Time is marching on as accumulators accumulate.

Broadford - "Was that because it wasn't relevant, because it could not possibly be "price sensitive"?"

If this were true it would sure as hell be price sensitive:-

"at some point expect a much larger downgrade in the Jurassic. I am of the opinion that they will try to bury the downgrade when they start with the Triassic."

So why doesn't Tony or one of his whistleblowers who he tells us are at the ready to blow the whistle, blow the whistle.

The company did not inform the market when SH6 hit water, did it? How many months (or was it years) did they keep that under wraps?

So far as I remember it was lost drilling fluid not produced water. So no need to "keep it under wraps" . Drilling fluid returns are fairly normal.

An internal technical judgement, an opinion.

With such faulty judgements, or opinions, there is always the opportunity to revise and re-present / re-package the information at a later date and in a form that is kinder to you.

The company never took the opportunity to "go again" with SH6, despite their technical disagreement with the Competent Person Report, and the resulting, disastrous OWC issue is to this day confirmation that the company does not do as you claim.

The company allows itself a LOT of leeway in deciding what information is "relevant".

$1.25 per barrel based on proven reserves - on a good day.
