A Kurdish bloc calls for the prosecution of Nechirvan and Masrour Barzani on charges of smuggling oil

The head of the Future Parliamentary Bloc, Sarkut Shams al-Din, called on Thursday to expedite the legislation of the oil and gas law and to pursue Kurdish figures who have contributed to oil smuggling.



Sarkut said in a statement to Al-Maalouma agency that "there are two basic requirements, the first relating to the legalization of oil and gas laws, and the second requirement to pursue Nechirvan and Masrour Barzani on charges of smuggling the region's oil."



He added, "The Kurdistan Democratic Party has contributed in one way or another to squandering the region's wealth," noting that "the monopoly of the oil file by certain political parties and families necessitates that we move forward towards legislating the oil and gas law instead of leaving the oil wealth in the hands of those who monopolize power."



A member of the Kurdistan Regional Parliament called for the movement of the new generation, Kawa Abdul Qadir, in a previous statement to / Al-Maalouma / agency, to host the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, and to question him in the Federal Parliament for selling oil to Turkey.

For the avoidance of doubt, a block listing does NOT mean that all VCP options were simultaneously exercised as McCHINA is suggesting in previous posts.

A block listing is the admission to the official list of a defined number of UNALLOTTED securities. As and when VCP participants choose to exercise their vested options, shares from the block can be allotted to them.
