Richard Lowe Drilling Manager 2012:-

"It is extremely challenging," said Lowe, "but the rewards are quite good -- we find one billion barrels here, one billion barrels there.
Shaikan's well no. 6, for example, was initially drilled at the far end of the field to test the "spill point of the structure" -- where the hydrocarbons reserve ends and water was expected – but when the drill got more than 3 kilometers deep, it actually found more oil."

"Shaikan-6 was a very, very good well for us," said country manager Adnan Samarrai, "it is very promising."

How many ESP's were planned over five years ago. So getting one installed is a great success is it.

Is it fitted with a snorkel and flippers.

Zero production progress in over five years but a pump works just goes to prove how low expectations are.

1.7p for several different reasons.

"I've met Adnan on many occasions and he was always a gentleman."

Yes I met him several times as well Tony and we had some interesting discussions about Shaikan.

Clearly what he had to say was lost on you because his opinions were diametrically opposed to yours.

You clearly hadn't a clue what he was talking about.

"Gulf Keystone's country manager, Adnan Samarrai, recognised Shaikan's potential immediately having seen many similar structures during 45 years’ experience working with Iraq Petroleum Company and Iraq National Oil Company, and it was he who suggested the company drill this as its first prospect."

"Mr. Adnan Samarrai, Gulf Keystone Country Manager for Kurdistan, is a petroleum geologist with over 45 years oil & gas exploration and development experience in Iraq. Mr Samarrai understands the petroleum geology, drilling technology and other disciplines relating to exploration activities within Iraq. He has held a number of positions in several companies including Chief Exploration Geologist and Senior Geologist at the North Oil Company and Iraq National Oil Company. Prior to joining Gulf Keystone, Mr Samarrai was Director of MAR Oil Services Ltd, Baghdad and a Petroleum Consultant to a number of companies including British Gas, Pennzoil Co., EOG Resources and OPT-RNGS."

Are you still going on?! You are wasting your life. Such an obvious take over that it has failed to materialise on multiple occasions over many years.

Production less than over five years ago.
Latest CPR a massive reduction on the Reserves of five years ago.
No ESP's installed which was the plan five years ago.
More wells drilled but less production than five years ago.
OWC found much higher in Jurassic than they believed five years ago.
The field has shrunk massively from what was believed well over five years ago.
The Jurassic has shrunk massively from what was believed over five years ago.

However Paul the multi avatar from Stockport is still predicting an imminent takeover like he was doing over five years ago.

So no progress from five years ago.
No Kozel bragged up but troughed on barrels discovered.

The reality is 1.7p for umpteen major reasons imho.
