Broadford, but as is known to a few of us that picture as well as the numbers is totally worthless due to the events that have occurred since it was first published. The latest proof that the figures are fantasy was only recently published in the form of the 4th CPR. Huge downgrade to the 2P numbers which is obviously a result of the OWC being located hundred's of metres higher in the Jurassic than they expected.

As for the belief the clowns here have about large fractures being positive and that 30-35% can be extracted they're back in cloud cuckoo land.

As is evidenced by the production numbers and that the East side of the field is obviously experiencing "issues" that picture ought to be at least half the size. I've been saying for years that the East side with the water wells cuts off at least a third but now we've seen the evidence of the OWC mullering the Jurassic, the only zone they drill to, not only has it shrunk East to West but in depth as well.

I believe that points to why a "guru's" "cheap off the shelf" ESP's were never installed.

I note no imminent takeaway again. Almost certainly why no one was interested even when the company was less than £50m so why would they be interested now?

I note the Yanks are back up to 11m barrels a day with more drilling expected mid year. Just saying like:-)

Has anyone asked the "EX in the Industry" why he never gets any of his views or prediction correct whilst I do. City Jungle Drums innit:-)

30% recovery is a bit low nowadays for onshore fields , 35-40% more like the average with some form of injection later on in the field life.

IMO

Re Phillip

At Australian customs the Duke was told he'd be asked the same questions as anyone else. Asked if he had a criminal record, he replied, "I had no idea it was still a requirement."

"Oil in place and not reserves as posted by nestofnutjobs"

Let's call it Oil in place then Tony.

At an industry average of 30% that works out at 2.8 billion barrels of recoverable reserves.

A while back exercises were done on here that showed that take over deals had averaged around $1 billion per 100 million barrels of reserves.

That values GKP at $28 billion or £20 billion.

Or £96 a share.

Sounds good to me.
