SOLD TBA NEXT WEEKWe(CNPC) signed a joint sales implementation agreement in 2017, then spent 2 years modelling SHAIKAN.Gkp agreed not to expand the field during this period ( fitting ESP etc) as we wouldn't have been able to measure natural pressure gradients and an accurate scale of reserves. We have done well logs and of course fracture studies, and as we document in the public domain, SHAIKAN recovery levels are far higher than the existing CPR......We agreed a price,The legals are done, our people are on the exec board, and we complete via short form amalgamation ANNOUNCED next week.

"You are aware that the MNR requires the gas well before they get an revised FDP 😱"

Yes Tony I am aware of it, and as I said when I explained it all to you recently it's only logical.

How can you submit a Field Development Plan for approval before you've actually decided what you're going to do with the gas.

And you can't decided what you're going to do with the gas until you've determined the presence or otherwise and if there is one, the location of a gas cap.

You can't submit a FDP that includes gas re-injection if there isn't a gas cap to inject it into now can you.

But first they have to find it.

So if our new gas man Jon Harris has decided to drill another well to try to find it instead of just going straight for the more costly and time consuming option of gas sweetening to commercialise the gas then that is a good and sensible thing.

And if that well doesn't find it either then like Sh-9 it can be turned into another producer.

This is what I told you in January last year:-

"If for some reason Sh-9 did miss the gas cap, the well would be turned into a producer. They would then choose another location and if for some reason that also missed then that would also be turned into a producer..."

So if they have decided to try again then that's exactly what's happened.

Try to pay attention Tony.

Yes Habscam 🤡

That's correct, they have just told us that they will restart in the third quarter (would you like the dates and timetable) so that's near on 6 MONTHS BEFORE THEY RESTART and it's unlikely they will achieve 55k this year 😱

You are aware that the MNR requires the gas well before they get a revised FDP 😱

Did you notice they didn't mention this in the last RNS ???

Must be saving that for results (jam tomorrow) day ???

As a potential suitor what sort of questions do you think they would want answering before they got involved ???

"Mazen Al-Faisaly MP said that the Kurdistan Region delegation has refused to include clear and explicit details of the amount of oil delivered from the regional oil fields to the federal government. He added that the parliament and the government are not obliged to pay for the contracts concluded by the Kurdistan Regional Government with foreign oil companies because they violate the constitution".

That looks real serious. "Violate the constitution" is a biggy because that brings back into question the legitimacy of the PSC doesn't it. As we should all remember this has always been such a stumbling block and years down the pipeline its still a very contentious issue it would appear.

Go long on jammy dodgers and digestives is the word.

Habscam 🤡

It's extremely clear from what you are posting that the odds for any possible interest in this company are pretty poor and have been for the last ten years.

And here's me thinking you only posted positive things about GKP 😱

Your other personalities are going to start calling you a troll if your not careful.

So no progress then!!! Can't even agree on a simple matter of a yearly budget!!! Same old story.

But Erbil keep announcing the deal was agreed and that they would hand 250k to Baghdad. Just can't believe a word that comes out of last great frontier.

So obviously with no oil agreement the share price is even more over the top just like the oil price is.

There needs to be a huge correction downwards imho especially as the 55k a day is retreating into 2022 and the 2P reserves have had a huge downgrade.

Still, the company did put out another basin of jam for you stakeholder suckers in the form of a couple of pumps. Suckers for the suckers eh:-)

Just pointing out the reality for you rampers and you're welcome:-)

"Thanks for confirming that there will be no takeover for a very longtime judging by what you have just posted 😱"

"A very long time"

Your words not mine Tony.

Any company wanting the legal framework perfected will need to wait for however long it takes.

Or there may be organisations (the Chinese for example) who aren't bothered and are prepared to work around it.

"Just wanted to remind you and give you a reality check 😃"

You just can't pay attention can you Tony. So here is a reminder of what I posted up on the subject for you just four weeks ago, it obviously went straight over your head:-

Capital Markets Day:-

Question - "What's preventing you moving to a premium listing."

Sami - "For a premium listing for the Kurdish players there is a bit of a roadblock with respect to the legal framework and Baghdad versus Kurdistan. You talk to the Regulator and they say "mmmmm it's not quite clear yet with respect to those contracts. At the end of the day Baghdad is the sovereign Capital, we don't have a problem with that, you're a good company but let's wait for this to be fixed."
It's a bit like GKP or our peers not being eligible yet for direct lending and debt, so even though those companies are very profitable there is always a hurdle with respect to the perfected legal framework.
We have no issues with that but from a compliance or regulatory standpoint these are the types of hurdles that we have to deal with."

The fact that you can't take stuff in the first time round Tony is no doubt why you ended up selling second hand Land Rover parts.

I think it was just you that needed to be reminded Tony, the rest of us are well aware of what's going on and why.

He added that the parliament and the government are not obliged to pay for the contracts concluded by the Kurdistan Regional Government with foreign oil companies because they violate the constitution.
The Iraqi federal government insists on receiving oil produced from the region and selling it through the state-owned oil company, SOMO.

You're 15 years late with that one Tony.

What do you think they've been arguing about for all these years.

The rest of us have known exactly what the ICG think about it since day one.

Try to keep up.

Is that the sort of bang up to date intel that your "lucky subscribers" pay you for.
