07/7/2020 13:56 | Bigdog518 Feb '12 - 14:29 - 165991 of 609682 0 0 0 Paddyfool, "the penny has only just dropped for me about SH4" Better late than never. I have posted a few times on here that as we move West have posters noticed that the wells appear to get better. Many have but I'm still sure that others (like yourself) are still missing this rather important point. The question you should be asking yourself is why. When you work that out the penny will drop even further. I know I can come across as an utter know it all, but you have to remember, I am. I made a fortune in Shale, have strong links to the city and have a fleet of 911's in the lock up. There is no way that GKP's 4 licenses don't contain literally gajillions of oil. It is just a waiting game now to see how much the Chinois will pay, n'ecst pa, innit. Ignore that tedious doughnut chaset OM63 BTW - there is no way that Kozel will let this go without an auction. I expect a minimum of £87.50 a share. Bob, they're taking their time (the Chinese) to get the cheque book out. I do hope that Kozel is open to offers from all interested parties and will use a proper $ per barrel for reserves/resources. If Conoco are coming to add to the growing list the Chinese could get left behind if they dont move soon. Keep up the good work, BTW. You are easily the most enjoyable poster to read on here and given the esteemed company of people like Gramacho, Nestoframpers and Scaramouche, that is high praise indeed. | ![]() bernard castle

By the way, can you recommend any decent burger joints in the Westminster Area? I've had a long train journey south and it has been an hour since breakfast. :) PPS: Message Bigdog would you - tell him to stop mentioning getting 4p a share. It's a brass neck and ruins his credibility as an expert. In fact - do you know any good Indians as well - I fancy a curry for lunch. Oh Mammy, I'm starving! >>>>> Oilman 63 30th October Interesting read over on 3iii Shaikan now has Iraq troops on it ??? I wonder how the new PSC is coming along ??? 07/7/2020 13:04 | What's what...? Sept-2019 output was 39,921bopd - before SH-12 was due to be put into production and before SH-9 was "completed as a Jurassic producer". You might expect each Jurassic well to give you about 4Mbopd, so another 8Mbopd in the meantime. Current output is 36Mbopd so where did the other 39,921+8,000-36,000 = 11,921bopd disappear to? What did I miss? | ![]() broadford bay

07/7/2020 10:27 | Subscribe Markets Saudis Raise Oil Pricing to U.S., Asia as Demand Recovers By Anthony Di Paola and Serene Cheong July 6, 2020, 1:30 AM EDT Updated on July 6, 2020, 9:20 AM EDT Aramco raises August prices for grades to Asia by $1 a barrel Increase is less than expected for flagship Arab Light crude Exclusive: Inside Look At The Saudi Aramco Oil Company Photographer: Simon Dawson/Bloomberg Follow us @middleeast for more news on the region. Saudi Arabia raised pricing for August oil shipments to Asia, the U.S. and northern Europe amid signs that energy demand is recovering from its coronavirus-triggere The world’s biggest crude exporter is increasing rates as it pushes other major producers to keep cutting supply to re-balance the market. State producer Saudi Aramco lifted the official selling price for its flagship Arab Light crude to buyers in Asia, its biggest market, for a third consecutive month, though by less than expected. Aramco raised pricing to the U.S., where it’s also reining in shipments, for a fourth month. “The increase in prices reflects the overall recovery in oil markets,” said Carole Nakhle, chief executive officer of London-based consultant Crystol Energy. “Demand growth remains uneven and may even be subject to temporary reversals, but it is unlikely to fall off a cliff because lockdowns, if re-introduced, are likely to be more localized.” Arab Light crude to Asia rises to $1.20 a barrel above the Middle East benchmark, compared with a 20-cent premium for July, the company said in a statement. Traders and refiners, who are struggling with low margins, expected the premium to climb to $1.45, according to a Bloomberg survey. | ![]() beernut

07/7/2020 10:22 | China’s June Crude Oil Imports Hit Record High By Julianne Geiger - Jul 06, 2020, 3:00 PM CDT China’s crude oil imports in June hit a record high, according to a market analysis by OilX Research, in a sign that China’s thirst for crude oil is not being hampered by the coronavirus. In June, according to data compiled by OilX, China’s crude oil imports hit a record high of 11.93 million bpd—an increase of 820,000 bpd from May levels, which were also at record levels. This 11.93 million bpd represents a 2.4 million bpd increase year over year, which is a 25.4% increase. OilX attributes this increase in June to the restart of its economy, along with favorable crude oil prices and spreads. So much so has the environment been kind to thirsty importers that China is experiencing a nagging backlog of tankers that are piling up in its ports, with about 40 million barrels waiting in line to be offloaded in the Yellow Sea—up from 1.8 million barrels of oil sitting in stationary vessels in the Yellow Sea in March. Besides the overall increase, the breakdown of China’s imports by country are shifting, with China importing more oil from Brazil (451,000 bpd more in June) and Angola (309,000 bpd more in June), while importing less oil from Saudi Arabia and Iran. | ![]() beernut
