you consistently say "sale by date X" and then as soon as that passes you just make up a new nonsense timescale, that one comes and goes and then its on to the next one.....repeated ad nauseum

Agree Urals ,sale price has a very wide potential spread , as the price paid could be $2-12bn and the divisor , shares in issue could be as now ,or half as many, if off mkt buyback maximum£12- £100 my worst / best , should find out next week or two

GKPHero :Depends on how many shares in issue at sale (major buyback first) and obviously price paid.Peel Hunt research note described this as the most undervalued E and P listed on lse, when it was 254p, clearly the institutions that have built up massive stakes squeezing pips out pre Sale RNS.Within 2 weeks maximum in my view.

That valuation would equate today to £12bn about £55 / share.We won't know how much they sold it for until the announcement, which is nearby .xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI wonder how much the Dog5hite's valuation of £15+ (pre restructure remember ) would equate to today ......I daren't even think about it !xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
