I was reading a summary of posters on financial boards and it was very interesting. In summary they fall into 3 categories:Honest people - These people are positive on stocks, they reveal their position by their posts and based on their decision to buy and hold the stock their outlook is positive.Dishonest people - These people post in a negative way. They are the types who will be bearish and negative not because they think a stock is bad but they want the price as low as possible. The moment they buy they go quiet and post no more, until that point they try to suppress the price with negativity. The moment in future they sell they are back posting in a negative way again. These people hate the Honest people, because not only are they trying to do the opposite of the honest people they also know deep down how dishonest they are in their own actions but greed for them in getting the price lower is the overriding factor.Dreamers - These people have lost their money or no money to invest. They spend their time trolling or pretending to be short or long of a stock. Attention seeking, their lives are devoid of enjoyment or fun and so they seek to gain fame (infamy) on the internet by being a troll.

You really should stop guessing cos you suck at it.

But it's good to note that you are going to great lengths with your imaginative theories. It will serve you well in the coming months when you will need to be real creative with the excuses for a whole raft issues both old and new.

My best guess here, is that there are two main protaganists at work.

One is clearly a Narcissist.
The other appears to be a high functioning Asbergers or similar.

And they are working together, using multiple aliases.

I had dinner in London with a major (private) shareholder some time ago and we discussed covering short positions in GKP.

Evidently it's possible, but not for small holders; $1M plus would do it.

From what we discussed I got the impression that there are several organisations (Goldman was mentioned, as was BNY Mellon) that will offer to cover your open position at quite reasonable cost.

Good Evening David,

I'm so sorry I couldn't reply to your very important contribution this morning but I've only just got back from one of the boats 😃

Am I to take it you are declining my generous offer ???

You seem so convinced that I'm actually a woman but you are frightened to meet me in person 😱 Are you really going to hide behind your keyboard ???

I thought from your postings that you are the main man ???

I'm coming to Edinburgh soon anyway so perhaps I'll drop round anyway and show you you have nothing to fear 😃

See you soon.

Now to catch up with GoatCam 😃

What was the price for today's takeover ???

"Major tree shake today as the market tries to hoover up GKP shares as the end draws near".

LOFL.

"hoover up" LOFL. They're dumping you idiot.

"end draws near" LOFL. No one is interested you clown.

There's major issues to sort out and if S9 isn't a total success your ducks that you all reckon are lining up are in pancake rolls.

"A fortuitous exit for voleon perhaps?" Maybe, SS, but don't forget they've got to buy them back in a thin market where their target is also hoovering up. It might not be so easy to exit that short.

Nothing to do with a tree shake or anything else other than us following the rest of the markets as the FTSE experiences it's biggest drop since 2016. You should know by now that we always follow the markets down. Very rarely up. A fortuitous exit for voleon perhaps?
