As much as I would like this share to go up, there appear to me to be far too many rampers and contributors who live in lala land and tell porkies on this board. If just one of you can substantiate your claims with a link then your credibility will be enhanced substantially. Otherwise please, please take a break!!

The $63M is for the full 15%, as far as I can see (and before any offsetting arrangements). The price for TAQA's 50% share of that 15% has still to be determined.

If the present 2P is around 100MMstb, and ignoring the 2C numbers, then the $/bbl "value attributed" drops to around $4/bbl.

And that's for 26°API crude - not 17°API

So, for really heavy SH crude, perhaps $3/bbl...?

EDIT:
The announcement is not 100% clear to me, as the statement says:
"...The Acquisition, with effect from January 1, 2018, includes a 7.5% participating interest in the Atrush PSC as well as USD 10.7 million in loans provided to the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq ("KRG") which fall due over the 22 months beginning January 1, 2018...."
So, should we understand that the $10.7M loan repayment is part of that payment deal - effectively reducing the value of the 15% to $52.3M (dropping the attributed value to $3.50/bbl or so), or is the $10.7M part of the final closing adjustments (i.e. to be added to the $63M)?

Lots of ????
