07/12/2018 21:19 | Nest I think you are right about XOM relinquishing Al Qush. Look only at the map available on MNR’s website hxxp://mnr.krg.org/i 1) Under Discoveries and Development, no number is allocated to Al Qush. 2) The map is up to date because the pipe to Turkey has a capacity of 1 mio bl. 3) A heavy fuel pipe of 500 000 bl is planned from Shaikan to Turkey. That should give us a better idea of the value of Shaikan. BD | ![]() bravedog

07/12/2018 18:37 | "Then came the fluid then came the water. The licence has shrunk materially. All the clues are there." So all the clues are there are they? After the completion of the appraisal programme with Shaikan-6 in 2012 we had an RNS on the 19th of July:- "SHAIKAN OIL IN PLACE UPGRADE. The revised gross oil-in-place volumes for the Shaikan field, as calculated by Dynamic Global Advisors (DGA), independent, Houston-based exploration consultants, are a P90 value of 12.4 billion barrels to a P10 value of 15 billion barrels of oil-in-place, with a mean value of 13.7 billion barrels. This very significant upgrade of the Shaikan resources estimates revises the previously announced range of 8.0 to 13.4 billion barrels of gross oil-in-place with a mean value of 10.5 billion barrels. This upgrade is based on the data acquired since the last resource evaluation of the Shaikan discovery by DGA issued in November 2011 and is the fourth successive upward revision by DGA since the Shaikan discovery was announced in August 2009." On the 18th of March 2015 when the last of the current wells had been drilled, and you'd had getting on for THREE years since the drilling of Shaikan-6 to "mull" all the "clues" and use your vast all knowing and all seeing experience in which to see all the "problems" and "issues" that not even the GKP boffins can see, you said:- "For those that it appears to interest as to whether I've been buying GKP, I can confirm I have." "buying around the 40p mark says to me its a great oppo." That's £40 in today's money Bigdog. So having had almost THREE years to assess the drilling programme, the field performance, Shaikan-6 and all the rest of it you decided that a great "buying oppo" was 20.1 times today's closing price and 27 times the 150p that you now tell us is fair value when the company is well on it's way to 55kbpd and with a war chest of some $300 million. And you think that you are qualified to give us instruction. You're a bonehead Bigdog. A complete and utter numbskull. | ![]() habshan
07/12/2018 17:42 | We were informed it was a very good well. Then came the fluid then came the water. The licence has shrunk materially. All the clues are there. | ![]() bigdog5
07/12/2018 17:33 | "That was it's purpose? That's a new BS one. LOFL." The reason for your total ignorance Bigdog is that you don't read the information that the company provides to help you understand what's going on. Along with the fact that you just aren't technically minded. "Delineation well. an exploration well drilled as part of a carefully planned programme with the objective of appraising the value of an oil or gas discovery. Delineation, or step-out wells, are drilled so that the probable outline of the oil or gas field may be delineated." From HYR Sept 2012. "The Company completed the field's appraisal programme as had been agreed with the Ministry of Natural Resources, with the completion of the Shaikan -5 and -6 appraisal wells and the testing of Shaikan-6." So Bigdog, where have you seen the edge of the field previously extending beyond Shaikan-6? Where has it shrunk from? | ![]() habshan
07/12/2018 17:13 | "Shaikan-6 was that well and it achieved it's purpose by successfully delineating the eastern edge of the field by confirming the location shown on the seismic". That was it's purpose? That's a new BS one. LOFL. | ![]() bigdog5
07/12/2018 17:05 | Two things have definitely shrunk in recent times - the Doggie's credibility (down to zero) - along with his bank balance (by 99%) . LOL | ![]() roverite12
07/12/2018 16:04 | "We all remember how S6 was supposed to be a great well until it was realised it found the very edge of the licence and all that water. Therefore all of the licence area to the east is no good. Shrunk." If something has shrunk Bigdog, then it must have been bigger. Having analysed the seismic, which showed the eastern edge of the field to be in a certain location, the Reservoir Engineers wanted a delineation well to confirm it. That is what a delineation well is for. Shaikan-6 was that well and it achieved it's purpose by successfully delineating the eastern edge of the field by confirming the location shown on the seismic. So where have you seen the eastern edge of the field being to the east of Shaikan-6? | ![]() habshan

07/12/2018 14:18 | fcaman, S4 is an odd one. A very old well, likely close or on the boundary. Not designated to receive an ESP whereas S5, S10 and S11 have been and I'm convinced they're very close to the edge. Could they be concerned a pump at S4 would cause serious issues or could it be ok and doesn't require any assistance? A work over well perhaps but not getting a pump seems odd. Brent up and the market hikes the share price in anticipation of the suckers arriving. | ![]() bigdog5

07/12/2018 13:04 | They've been waiting 15 years for an O&G law and will probaly wait another 5 years at least - i agree with you when you state no deal until a law is passed.I think it's prudent to look at another 10 years of holding till you can get circa 5% of your investment back. | hearts5 |
