Oh dear, 55k a day 2 years away.

I seem to recall around 5/7 months ago,(post probably deleted now so as not to be seen as getting another prediction wrong) that someone was suggesting that a new well and 55k a day would be just a matter of a few months away.

Is anyone interested in the valuation of ShaMaran's slice of Atrush?

Their Working Interest 2P Reserves are 17.113 million barrels; GKP's current figure is 21 times as much.

The NPV figures for ShaMaran's 2P Reserves are $357.722 million (at 0%) and $216.264 million (at 10%). So the current Market Capitalisation of GKP, with 21 times the 2P Reserves, is almost exactly the same as the ShaMaran 0% NPV.

The ShaMaran Market Capitalisation is 189.38 million dollars Canadian, which equates to $144 million US, say £115 million. GKP is £289 million.

So whilst GKP has 21 times the 2P Reserves, its Market Capitalisation is only some 2.5 times that of ShaMaran.
