Oh dear.

GKP clearly stated that 55,000 bopd would be achieved from cash flow.

And if one looks at GKP's own capex figure of c. $60 million to achieve that (lower than the 100% capex of course) the monthly capital spend would average on Jon Ferrier's current timescale of some 22 months some $3 million per month.

Which is fundable from income, as GKP have said.

O63, In the grand scheme of things, there's a lovely big market out there with lots of attractive shares, yet a few posters doggedly cling on, trying to suggest the only way to beat the market is to stick with GKP. And bob sends a few emails - so what?

Oh, and I had lunch with Old Bill last week. 'Operation Blue Tick' was the source of much hilarity.

Why sweat the small stuff?

And clearly they haven't come back, even after the restructuring. And neither have the BOD bought shares, and Im sure they also know a lot more than you.

o_i,

In last November's presentation they stated, "Near-term target to increase current production capacity of 40k bopd to 55k bopd, which can be financed with operating cash flow and existing cash balance"

Working capital shortfall scenarios and options are set out in the restructuring prospectus.

So Bigdog5 is not making any allegations against the MNR for fraud or irregularity? Er...only the other day he said "Shai con is worth what someone will offer but no one is interested in Koruptistan".

I don't follow his logic regarding the handed-back acreage. He asserts that "no one is interested" in the allegedly corrupt Region of Kurdistan, but then contradicts that by implying that a (non-existant) investor would take the acreage. It's totally incoherent.

He then asserts that the difference between a Mixing and a Blending Plant is "semantics". No it is not, and Jon Ferrier covered this specific point at the AGM.

Where have GKP said that new working capital would be needed within 12 months? Within 12 months of when? In what circumstances? Obviously, if the KRG were to make no payments and GKP continued to produce oil without payment, the cash position would then decline. As it would for DNO and Genel. Why not call their CFOs and tell them?

I rather think it was "Oilman63" who urged shareholders not to sell their shares lol

This is a silly statement by by Pastor Muppet: " GKP say that the 55,000 bopd would be funded from income. The board have no authority to issue shares in any case "

Says who? ;)

Legal threats? You mean o_i's comments about calling the KRG/MNR out for what they are being 'unwise'? If so, it doesn't really matter what he thinks, does it. The vast majority of shareholders are aware. IMO, o_i came across as rather gullible in that post earlier.

oil investor, you have been preaching that sermon for a very long time and yet there's been little or no progress. I make no allegations whatsoever. However, history may be a guide to the future? As regards the "dud's" then we shouldn't expect them to be re awarded then? Mixer/blender just semantics. MNR worked outside the PSC when it suited. Over $100m "lost" in negotiations and no Birs. 3.6% extra and less tax not much good when struggling to produce 40k a day and payments an issue. How long have GKP been working towards agreement with the MNR for back costs? Didn't the company announce that new w/cap would be required within 12 months?

Btw, what's full value now as opposed to when you urged PI's to hold for it a few years ago? Have you done the maths:-)

My bet is one day these Kurds will be made to pay like i always said .

In the end this is the only way and in the end it will be realised as the only option."

Have held here for over four years-painful and in many ways wish I,d sold out.
However what is fact is fact-just hope I,m around long enough to see us sold for a decent price to at least recoup some of my losses!
This was meant to be a nice boost to my retirement funds-well I,m now retired but still waiting on boost!
regards to all

No drilling E&P in n Kurdistan has any news what so ever about the Permian , that to me doesn't add up . XOM handed back some blocks but kept others one of which is our neighbour , what happened at Al Qush ? XOM know KRG will know no one else it seems. So very few know what a fair price for GKP is . I think what ever the 1st offer is there will be another one. That time is approaching imo.
