When Kozel took his awards, the company was drilling for oil , had 4 blocks and 900 million shares in issue.

ccr1958: one has to look at the published details of the SRP (which are not included in today's RNS) in order to get a fuller picture. Particularly regarding when the options are exercisable, what happens if GKP is taken over, and what happens if people depart without that being on "good leaver" terms.

WildRider7: what Phillis says is simply incorrect. Subsequent to Jon Ferrier taking over as CEO in June 2015, he attended the AGM in Paris the following month and there was no suggestion that the company was "in breach of its covenants and bust in effect" as Phillis claims. You can see exactly what JF said in the various presentations, including in the AGM presentation, and in video.

GKP is just a trough for whomever is on the BoDs. It is disgusting...The amount that these guys take, despite the losses and indeed the shareholder losses. The Co is or was barely solvent yet they escape that by the skin of their teeth and continue to feast...They have`t even bought any shares themselves....

It is quite extraordinary..

This fooookin BOD have no shame and JF is a disgrace as Shareholders lost most of their holdings under his watch as he defaulted when their was no need to.
IMO,everything that has happened has been meticulously pre planned to an already known timetable.

And those numbers of shares at new share price are disproportionate for staff retention imo.
